Paranoid much? Why would anyone need 4 cameras on the front of their house?

Took this photo when out for a walk the other day…either this person is seriously paranoid, or is the local drug dealer.

Cameras are circled in red, lights in yellow, with motion control.

Drug dealer, don’t be surprised if you get a bash next time you walk past it because they saw you taking a photo and think you’re a cop.

    • Never in the dark…..

I can’t agree. For one thing, where are the basketball sneakers? Shouldn’t they be hanging from the street light or something?

      • Urban myth, especially around my area

    • Yeah good luck with that…last person who tried to give me the bash got helped into his mates car clutching his nuts and crying like a baby

  • Tom

Or doesn’t want to be a victim in a strange country? With that many cameras, I’d say that the house two doors down would probably get robbed first..

Sadly it probably IS a crack dealer, but this may be an opportunity for us to have some fun..

  • CJA

    Witness protection?

  • CJA

Alternatively could be a South African.

    • Never in the dark…..

No. We’d put bars across all windows and ensure the wall (at least 2.5m) had razor wire across the top.

Cameras would provide evidence of where the intruder was, and where you were in relation to his position when you shot him.

      • Tom

        Correct. Is there another way?

  • It’s not as if those cameras are covering a lot of different angles. Plus their size makes them pretty overt.

    I’m going for “loon” (other)

  • TeacherUnionsRscum

Top right one is pointing down side of house, all others are pointing various places around the front, either preparing for armed invasion or its a cook house.

  • after being burgled 3 times in 4 years i’m seriously considering putting cameras up in order to get a pic of who is wandering round my house in the day while im at work. i think its a good idea for neighborhood watch groups to have a record of who drives up and down the street on any given day. i’ve also had my veges harvested from the garden while at work and it really pisses me off – i need a pic of the culprit as they are almost certainly local

    • Dude. Veges. Now that’s low.

(I remember coming home and the whole plum tree being emptied in one go – sigh)

      • Same here with the plum tree. Really, really, really annoyed me.

        • Bunswalla

Probably Pete, trying to get square!

can ya fertilize ya caulis..they were a bit tasteless this time around

      • that’s odd – should have been at least salty – ive taken to pissing on em daily just for the benefit of the end user – hope you enjoyed.

        • starboard

ah there’s ya problem..caulis don’t like acid, try taking a dump instead

          • yeah the thought did occur but then i decided it was pointless as shit on caulli would be easily detected due to that fact that brown stands out on a white background quite well and would really reduce the chances an unauthorized person would actually ingest my donation.

    • My mate has his orchard being picked clean near the road…so he moved his beehives…problem solved

      • i would love to keep bees parents did for many years – unfortunately an anaphylactic reaction to bee stings prevents this for me :(

  • Never in the dark…..

I’m sure that’s the daughters bedroom in the front.

Highly likely to be Asian. I have a good few living near me and they are paranoid about being burgled. To the point where a family across the street packed up and went back to China, citing “the number of burglaries in the area”. That would be none on our street, and one in the wider area (at the time) according to the local rag which used to carry maps of burglaries.

    • Nope, doubt asian…car is standard and not tricked up, lowered or altered in any way.

  • Rat

shit car for a dope dealer

  • Phar Lap

Home of a poverty stricken Green Taleban, maybe even one on the current “green party “list in Parliament.sucking at the trough.

  • blokeintakapuna

or he could have really hot, exhibitionist, 19 y/o lesbian porn stars across the road tormenting him for weeks on end, hour after glorious hour…

    • Bunswalla

  • Hamilton Lad

Actually it could just be that most home video surveillance camera kits come with 4 cameras.

  • Mr_Blobby

Seriously, they have probably been burgled once or twice and are feeling a little bit insecure. The alarm has probably been upgraded to along with the locks.

Sad situation when people feel they have to go to those lengths to feel safe.

Have another look around the area you will probably find a pepper potting of state houses.
