Poll: Should you get lucky after giving a Valentine?

According to Michael Laws, a Valentine Day gift automatically brings with it the expectation of a horizontal reward.  I’m assuming he means for those in established relationships; let’s not get awkward.

So, how did your Valentines Day pan out?

Poll is over the break.

It worked exactly as it always has for me, zero involvement in what has become another over commercialised try hard non-event.

I neither gave nor got a valentine ,yet I got in the shit, how the fuck does that work?

    • unsol

Awww so stink. My guess it was a case of ‘oh, it’s just so commercial/don’t really care about Valentines Day’ which is really code for yes I do, get me a card & flowers or else…

Mrs worked night shift (called in late so big time penalty rates) & I got a great nights sleep – what more could I ask for

  • starboard

The fact that you call sex a “root” indicates that even if you did get lucky you won’t be for long…

      • Callum

Depends if you say it to her face or not…

  • Anon

I scored even without the valentine

Michael Laws is a dick, if that is what he thinks then it is no wonder his ‘forever’ relationships are so temporary.

Valentines Day shouldn’t be all about the girls, it should be just another way to have a little celebration; kids, work etc all make life so busy so it is important to take moments to go on ‘dates’ and to use days like Valentines Day or your dating or wedding anniversaries to celebrate what you have.

As for putting out – women are keen when 1) they know their spouse is actually worth the effort….as in knows what they are doing (as opposed to assuming they do!) & 2) they are in the mood….which of course is helped along by not being tired, worried, stressed or pissed off! :-)
