Father overhears son’s phone call about coming out; unexpected result

The message went viral after a FCKH8.com, an activist organization for gay youth, posted it on their Facebook page. The organization raises money for LGBT charities and helps spread the message of love, not hate, through fun t-shirts.

Says Luke Montgomery

“You can imagine how happy we are that this father and son’s story is really touching people so deeply,” … “We hope it sets a good example for fathers to love their kids the way they were born. The fact that it has been shared by so many sadly means this kind of acceptance is both too rare and deeply craved by LGBT people who are so used to being rejected by families.”

In case you can’t quite unpick the handwriting, here’s the text

“Nate, I overheard your phone conversation with Mike last night about your plans to come out to me. The only thing I need you to plan is to bring home OJ and bread after class. We are out, like you now. I’ve known you were gay since you were six, I’ve loved you since you were born. Dad. P.S. Your mom and I think you and Mike make a cute couple.”

I personally feel it’s fake. Does not ring true. Some devious toad made it up — would be my take on it.

    Anybody check it out?

Silly question. They don’t check things. Facts are not relevant in this “debate”, same as in a few other leftish campaigns …
    …Maori being disadvantaged,
…Maori caring about the environment because of their spiritual beliefs,
…sick kids being caused by government-induced poverty,
…patched gangs originating in poverty and the gap between rich and poor (cf Jarrod Gilbert),
…patched gangs not really being into crime (ditto),
