Poll disaster for Labour in latest Roy Morgan

The latest Roy Morgan Poll is disaster for David Shearer and Labour, and it shows their anti-progress, Hobbit hating, and general mingy disposition isn’t washing with the electorate:

Today’s New Zealand Roy Morgan Poll shows a large gain in support for Prime Minister John Key’s National Party to 47.5% (up 3.5% since early February and the highest since July 9-22, 2012). Support for Key’s Coalition partners shows the Maori Party 2.5% (up 2%), ACT NZ 0.5% (unchanged) and United Future 0.5% (up 0.5%).

Support for Labour is 30.5% (down 4%); Greens are 12.5% (down 1%), New Zealand First 3% (down 1%), Mana Party 0.5% (unchanged), Conservative Party of NZ 2% (unchanged) and Others 0.5% (unchanged).

If a National Election were held today this New Zealand Roy Morgan Poll shows that the National Party with some minor Party support would win the Election.

Not surprising, they seem to have disintergrated recently.

Labour couldn’t run a hot bath – let alone the country. They’ve tried – and failed miserably again and again, but only through voter apathy and short memories and constant “noise” from the left because of the vacuum that is created by National’s silence.
The 4headed Green/red/brown taniwha will imploed upon itself in a festering heap of corrupt self-interest and festering back-stabbing – hopefully long before the electorate needs to vote…

    • BJ

Although it may appear that National are pussy’s they will be gaining the respect of unsuspecting non National supporters subconscious because seeing maturity, self-control and respect in our leaders is what makes people feel safe and trusting. This process takes time to cause subtle mindshifts

      • PlanetOrphan

You can keep your subtle mindshifts
Get out of my Head spit spit spit.

BJ, I wish I had such faith in the perceptual abilities of the general electorate. Look at how easily swayed they were by the trinkets of free student loans.

        • BJ

Maybe I should have been clear I meant the half intelligent few, not the brain dead masses

        • unsol

And WFF….big mass of new bludgers there….

    • unsol

“couldn’t run a hot bath”? That’s almost as hood as ‘couldn’t organise a piss up in a brewery’!

  • Apolonia

Worst result for NZ First since last election 3.0% -1.0. Good results for National,Maori party and the Conservatives.

    • Agent BallSack

And the best result for NZ. The sooner Peters leaves the political landscape the better. Old people really do like being taken in by fraudsters and conmen I am starting to believe. Bless their piss stained senile hearts

    • Gazzaw

Totally agree Apolonia. That result for NZF is probably the most important factor in poll as they are now in the ‘margin of error’ zone. Colmar Brunton result was the same. Fingers crossed, it could indicate their total extinction.

As Mike Moore once said about Muldoon, I’ll believe Winston’s gone when I see him sprinkled with holy water, a wooden stake through his heart and the garlic around his neck

  • JeffDaRef

I had a very timely dream last night that I’ll share…

David Shearer was asleep in a chair (god knows how I got there, or how I left my other dream of being the masseuse of the Swedish womens football team, but I digress..), and I slapped him to wake him up and shouted “enough bitching, tell me a decent policy you have, 10-9-8-7-6-5…”

Needless to say I got nothing more than a few um’s and ah’s before I reached zero.

Am I the next Deb Webber?

    • Sir Cullen’s Sidekick

You are very mean to our future PM. What about KiwiBuild? The policy everybody wants and likes? The MSM and the radio like this. Duncan Pastry Garner thinks it is a winner…What about social justice levy of 6 cents a dollar on rick pricks raking in over 150K per annum? Isn’t that a good policy?

      • JeffDaRef

Note that even in my dream I had the presence of mind to ask for a “decent” policy – hence, he was stumped.

And there I was SCS, thinking you were the only reader of this blog who dreamed of the Sheep!

        I feel dirty….

        • Sir Cullen’s Sidekick

Sheep wins on any given day mate…watch out

  • Phar Lap

Also if we read Chris Trotter in todays Dom-Post,Lie-bour are a very sick party,as they internally rip out each others throats.Just check out the sick fucks that are causing all the angst .

  • i feel this is due to larour letting “DR” norman tell the world his aspirations to be finance minister and get ahead of himself. the labour/nat swing voters are jumping back to reality, and National.

    • Sir Cullen’s Sidekick

Nigel – Muesli Norman will be the best Finance Minister and Deputy PM this country ever had. I am banking on his huge money printing adventure from day 1. I have invested heavily in a printing press…..

      • steve and monique

Hang on dont you have to cut down trees to make more paper.Seems very anti green to me.Have the tree huggers lost direction

        • Sir Cullen’s Sidekick

If it suits them everything is game on. Greens are the hypocrites of the worst kind. Sooner they drop to 5 or 6 percent, the better it is for NZ

        • even worse… cash is plastic…and coins are metal…

greens hate cutting down trees, hate oil (plastic) hate mining (metal) what are they going to print their money on?

          they could print it on:

          a)their own bullshit
          b)their own sense of superiority

          • steve and monique

            C- hemp

      • Agent BallSack

I’m going into the tree funeral business. I’m betting its going to pick up once Greens are in Parliament.

  • Phar Lap

See the Red/greens have taken a hit.Heard the Aussie wetback Norman from the joke party put the boot into Asians.Hello he dosnt like them. His party is full of imports WTF.

  • Sir Cullen’s Sidekick

Oh no! Just read the Rouge Morgan poll….Tories – just got off a phone call with Sheep. Sheep is assuring his loyal supporters that this poll is not to be taken seriously. As the poll was taken before his shadow cabinet announcement, there is no impact. He has spoken to Mueslei, Poo and Hone. They are all assuring him their support. Sheep has told his loyal followers that the next poll will bounce in Labour’s favour big time.

Meg – if you are reading this, rest assured we will have great fun at the expense of the nasty Tories who hog this blog. Hang in there. Sheep is our saviour.

  • starboard

Maybe they all need to get together in a bus and travel the country singing take me home country road..ya know, reconnect with their constituents..thats a good..What ?? Its been done before ? Bawhahahahaa !

    • Sir Cullen’s Sidekick

I love it when Sheep plays the guitar and sings “Take me home”. Now that Aunty is in his front bench, the fun begins big time

  • cows4me

The fucking lunatics of the left should be strongly challenged before the next election on how they would make up a caucus and what their core polices would be as plainly they won’t be able to govern alone. The ensuing shit fight and blood letting should give pause to those with a pinch of sense these retards offer only armageddon.

Clare Curran on Twitter, 24 Feb, regarding latest 3 News poll:
mad fluctuations. Trend is clear. We are going up and they are going down. Fact

Okay… National is at about the same as at the general election (up by less than half a percentage point). Labour is up about 3 points. So… National is not going down, Labour has gone up but in only a minor way and they still couldn’t form a coalition govt. So uhh… Congrats Clare ?

    • or it could be read as Labour are no higher than they were for the 3 preceding years under Goff.

  • steve and monique

Some can fall down a shit hole, and come up looking like gold ..Labour seem to always come up looking shit. Might be the dogs(Mana,NZF,Greens) they are having to lay down with that is causing this effect.
