Tory MP complains about naughty ads on Labour site, busts himself in the process

Oh dear words fail me, is this Tory MP channeling Trevor. Gavin Barwell has made a right prat of himself.

A Conservative MP has been left red-faced after a plan to expose Labour for making money off a ‘date Arab girls’ link backfired and revealed it was actually a targeted advert for his computer.

Croydon Central MP Gavin Barwell was quick to point out the potential questionable profiteering by Labour after he clicked on a link tweeted by the party and found the dating ad.

‘I know Labour are short of cash but having an invitation to “date Arab girls” at top of your press release?’ he tweeted to the party’s press representatives.

Of course people are tweeting up a storm about it….including the Labour party who have pointed out a few home truths about how online ads work.

As much at home writing editorials as being the subject of them, Cam has won awards, including the Canon Media Award for his work on the Len Brown/Bevan Chuang story.  And when he’s not creating the news, he tends to be in it, with protagonists using the courts, media and social media to deliver financial as well as death threats.

They say that news is something that someone, somewhere, wants kept quiet.   Cam Slater doesn’t do quiet, and as a result he is a polarising, controversial but highly effective journalist that takes no prisoners.

He is fearless in his pursuit of a story.
