I will mourn the loss of thousands of precious lives but I will not rejoice in the death of one, not even an enemy – Martin Luther King

Twitter is so instant, so unredacted and so raw, you get to see right inside people.

Here is a selection of how the news that Thatcher died unfolded in the minds of some people we know.

whether your upper class or lower class you will agree that those comments have NO class.

  • What sickening posts from ‘some’ people; and I think it reflects badly on ‘other’ people who are clearly not too selective in whom they appear on TV with or have as drinking buddies

  • Random66

Martyn Bradbury you are a disgrace. While Margaret Thatcher will be forever known as a woman who not just led her country, but saved it – what will you be known for? Remember your patheticness next time you look in the mirror. Fool.

  • Ratesarerevolting

About what we’ve come to expect from Bradbury, silly little self important twat that he is.

  • Jonathan

The left are attacking her for shit in the past – get over it and grow up, would have been worse without her. Mourn the person not the politics.

The right are using her death to attack the left – grow the fuck up and forget the politics, mourn the person not the politics.

  • So this is the crowd Brian Edwards runs with because people that comment here aren’t of a sufficient standard for him?

    *shakes head*

  • Michael

“She was friends with Jimmy Saville”. Good grief.

    • johnbronkhorst

so was half of Britain! Doesn’t mean anything!

      • unsol

Exactly just the same as that school teacher up north was liked & respected by many.

    • Joe_Bloggs

You can rely on Steve Gray to drag things down to his level

  • Positan

All the Left ever seems capable of expressing is the complete and utter human inadequacy of its substance, and the absolutely cretinous composition of its adherents.

  • 4077th

Dont for get Len Brown is a fu**ing C**t

  • johnbronkhorst

    My memories of the time.
Went to England on OE, I was told “you’ll never get a job, due to Maggies millions (unemployed)” Fact……within ONE day of arriving I had a part time job in a pub (evenings) and within 2 weeks I had a second job (40 hours during the day)!!
Other observations around the time, the miners strike…saw 2 big miners bullying a little old lady for donations outside Clapham Junction train station, right up until a very large Irishman I worked with (on British Rail), told them if they didn’t Fuck off, he would pretend that this woman was actually his mother, and beat them to death…no I’m not kidding or exaggerating!! By the way for all those who think the miners were heros, ask why NO other union came out in sympathy with them.

  • tarkwin

I used to think Bradbury was a juvenile side show but now I realize what a complete arsehole he really is.

  • johnbronkhorst

    Bradbury you are a dick!
Margaret Thatcher was ten times the man you!! She achieved things in her life you obviously can’t even comprehend let alone achieve yourself! With the prosperity she created, she was a great friend to the people.

  • I don’t know whether it’s because I’m more right of centre, but it seems as though you wouldn’t get any of this sort of nastiness from the right if Castro or Clinton died.
The Left seem to be entitled to attack the dead if they just so happen to be ideologically different from themselves.

    • emmess74

Me, I am happy to say nasty things about (leftist) dictators like say Chavez when he died, but not a (leftist) democrats like say Mandela.

  • maninblack

    bradbury is a cunt.

    • Sponge

An immature and ignorant cunt at that.

    • He just has that face that you want to punch. Neck beard toting fuckwit.

  • Brian of Mt Wellington

Bradbury is a fecken dickhead. Thatcher may’ve been a tough ol’ bird but what has she done to Bradbury personally for him to spew out this vitriole. She still has a surviving family that will be grieving at the moment and all these hate statements are uncalled for. I really thought us Kiwis were better than this.

  • Bradbury, he’d be the George Galloway of New Zealand, except he isn’t charismatic, articulate or clever enough to convince people to vote for him, or even get a slot on TV channels in dictatorships

  • unsol

In life & now in death Margaret Thatcher exposes people for who they truly are – from brilliant (nicely put CK) to idiotic (Curran) to silly (Gray – befriending someone who later became a pedophile has no baring on ones character as the crime is on the perpetrator – not by those who were sucked in by their evil charm) or vile beyond comprehension (Bradbury).

Bradbury would do well to remember some of Thatcher’s pearls of wisdom: “It is always important in matters of high politics to know what you do not know. Those who think that they know, but are mistaken, and act upon their mistakes, are the most dangerous people to have in charge…….left wing zealots….for them the ends always seems to justify the means. That is precisely how their predecessors came to create the gulag.” — Margaret Thatcher

    • Agent BallSack

No wonder the leftards hate her. Jab Punch Kinghit all in one sentence.

    • bobby

Quotable gold from Thatcher. Please forward to Andrew Little and Helen Kelly.

  • Agent BallSack

Martyn Bummer Bradbury needs a swift kick in the head followed by a pounding as he lies bleeding on the side walk. Bet when his mother dies no one rejoices and if they do – Karmas a bitch. May go to the funeral just to laugh at the sad cretin.

  • cows4me

Oh well Martyn when you go we’ll fumigate your useless carcass, put it in a class case, stick it in trades hall and the masses can file pass and view the ultimate result of socialism.

    • DavidW

Nah, better to give the prick an enema – you could then bury him in a shoebox

  • johnbronkhorst

    clare curren:….Why….afraid of ghosts???

  • LesleyNZ

Martyn Bradbury and Steve Gray are sick in the head and thick-wits. Disgraceful talk but says more about them and their state of mind than Maggie Thatcher. Maggie Thatcher was a lady. She didn’t care what the likes of Martyn Bradbury and Steve Gray said about her. It is far easier to go with flow than against the current. Maggie Thatcher was prepared to go against the current for the sake of a better Britain. What cloud is Clare Curran on? Martyn Bradbury and Steve Gray need to go and look in mirror and ask themselves what they have ever done in comparison to Maggie Thatcher.

    • Agent BallSack

Totally agree, Lesley. What they’re posting says everything about themselves and nothing about Margaret Thatcher.

  • DavidW

The ghost of Margaret Thatcher will be quietly chuckling and repeating to herself “the truth really does hurt those who are unwilling to see it”

  • bobby

Someone needs to keep a long record of Bradbury’s swipes of people as ammunition for the day he decides he wants to be an adult and play politics. His comment is disgusting.

  • johnbronkhorst

As I read here, I appear to be defending a woman’s honour (as do the rest of you), that needs no defence, her deeds stand on their own!! She was right about almost everything she said or did and history has proved it so!!! I say almost, because I don’t know everything she said.

  • Martyn Bradbury’s suggestion that Margaret Thatcher’s body be dismembered is both obscene and utterly repulsive. Perhaps this week’s Truth could feature it on the front page to expose Bradbury to further deserved ridicule.

  • Patrick

A demonstration of how bitter & disgraceful the commies are:

Only a few minutes after the death of
the 87-year-old, George Galloway, the Respect MP for Bradford West took
to his Twitter writing ‘Tramp the dirt down.’

    • NotForTurning

      Morrisey quote.

    • NotForTurning

And what’s really, utterly, disguisting — is that The Smiths are supposed to be Cameron’s favourite band!! For Pity’s sake!

Thatcher’s favourite band: Massed Bands of the Royal Marines

      Remember Deal Barracks!

  • Travis Poulson

Classy stuff from the deadbeat dad bradbury.

  • Travis Poulson

Steve Gray accuses me of racism for my post on Scribbler, then puts the boot in to someone after they die. What. The. Fuck. Nancy boy has a head full of loose wiring.

    • unsol

He does aye. I have had a look at his blog – if I thought he was weird on good morning (yes I used to be one of the 3 people that occasionally tuned into that tripe!) he is bonafide mental now.

      • Travis Poulson

His reaction is rather disturbing, and difficult to understand. As soon as he saw the post about Scribbler his first kneejerk reaction was to call me “vile and racist” then block me on Twitter. Vile maybe, but racist? He then went on a rant about racism and even came here to to put in his 5 cents worth….all the while failing to offer an explanation of his accusations of racism. I’ll tell you why, because there wasn’t any.

Coming out and making his comment about Maggie after trying to paint himself a morally superior being over an imaginary case of racism has left me a bit puzzled.

Also noted an hour or so later he’d unblocked me on his Twitter account, his way of saying “I was wrong”?

        • unsol

I have never heard of scribbler, but calling you vile is a huge stretch. I would label a few people on here that, but definitely not you. I have found your stylist approach to be contentious (which is pretty much 99.9999% of us on here!), cheeky, witty & often very clever. He is a crazy paranoid fruit-loop. Sad as I think he could have had the potential to be very clever if he were not such a moron. It never ceases to amaze me how caught up people get on blogs etc in terms of extremely personal attacks & freak outs. It’s weird how it seems to be push people over the edge in all directions….it is only cyberspace after all!

          • Travis Poulson

            Scribbler: Scribe

    • Gray ‘falsely’ accuses you of racism but I wonder if he ever ‘truthfully’ accuses Bradbury of anti-semitism? (you should see Bradbury foaming at the mouth whenever someone mentions Israel)

      • Travis Poulson

Funny you should mention that, Bradbury blocked me some months ago for being an “Israeli propaganda machine”.

        • HAHAHA!! typical!

          • Travis Poulson

            Managed to dig it up:

          • Travis Poulson

            managed to dig it up:

  • spollyike

OMG, hope some others heard that racist Willie Jackson on the radio just after 12:30pm sing “yay yay the witch is dead, good bloody riddance”. What a bloody loony, he then went on some rant about maoris owning lake taupo and the rest of the country as per usual! Fuckin’ clown, no wonder their ratings are buggered.

  • Hazards001

Some of yours have been rather enlightening lately too sport so I’m not sure where you get off..or is it only offensive if it’s against you’re beliefs?

    • All my posts are truthful and I do not advocate beheadings – Sport

      • Hazards001

        I know they’re truthful.

  • Hazards001

Well…that’s about par for the course from a wannabe a washout and a try hard.

  • Lion_ess

Clare Curren “Has Margaret Thatcher died”
Yes Clare, but she’s still more alive than you.

    • Heh. Boom

    • Travis Poulson

I was tempted to respond but decided against it. I mean how dumb can a Labour MP be? it was all over the news, internet, papers, websites…..and she asks “has Margaret Thatcher died?”

Labour’s Communications and IT spokesperson. Honestly.

Someone kill me if she makes it into Government.

  • NotForTurning

You besmirch Lady Thatcher’s reputation and memory with a quote from an avowed socialist!

What did Lady Thatcher actually say about victory, and the long-wished for death of her enemies?

Just rejoice at that news and congratulate our forces and the marines. .. Rejoice.

What did she say about socialists like MLK?

The choice facing the nation is between two totally different ways of life. And what a prize we have to fight for: no less than the chance to banish from our land the dark, divisive clouds of Marxist socialism and bring together men and women from all walks of life who share a belief in freedom.

And what about those who resist?

Economics are the method; the object is to change the heart and soul.

And those who still resist? Up to them: starve like Bobby Sands; protest like David Jones and Joe Green; fight like Galtieri or the crew of the Belgrano.

And what the Iron Lady say to any of ’em? GOTCHA!

  • NotForTurning

The right are using her death to attack the left – grow the fuck up and forget the politics, mourn the person not the politics.

The one thing Thatcher did; the one thing she would like us to do is continue to do our level best to wipe our socialism. To finish the job even she could not: to end the NHS, end state education, end welfare, end super!

That’s the only memorial Thatcher ever wanted.

    • Guest

Yes put everyone on even footing so those with an already healthy head start can crumple those who don’t. By all means. Nothing like a bit of healthy class warfare right?

    • Guest

So the left have a dig at her and they’re shit heads, the right use her to have a dig and everything is ok? No wonder this world is going to hell in a hand basket if morons take politics that seriously and damn near religiously. Its just bloody childish and says more about the right trying to use her to attack the left but then defend themselves with the same thing. Good old school yard tactics, perhaps thats where they should remain for a few more or a lot more years.

  • I would say that Bradbury has a real good chance of getting beaten up,once Margaret has been sent off, be interesting to see if it happens?
