Reasons my son is crying

Every time this little man cries, his father is there to

  1. Record it with a photo
  2. Publish it on the Internet
  3. Provide the reason (if known)

If you would like to admire his work, check out the site here.

Good parenting or  not?

  • hug him…. of course. unless he was swearing or rubbing faeces into the wall or something like that… in that case you should put him in stocks.

  • I did not find it funny, personally.

  • Steve (North Shore)

I think this means the kids stays one night per week with his Father.
    Broken family

    • Steve (North Shore)

      I will expand:

Mommy isn’t here when he woke up. This is the 80th consecutive Tuesday morning she hasn’t been here when he woke up. (Also, the milk is in the wrong cup.)

  • GregM

That sucks. Pick the child up. Parenting 101.

  • Phar Lap

Poor wee man has a wet nappy.

    • johnbronkhorst

Father or son?,,,, Sorry, couldn’t resist!!

  • PlanetOrphan

I’d say good parenting, power too ya bud whoever you are.
It looks like a reaction of habit based on non-comprehension.
Maybe try teaching him to read ?
And try explaining the more he cries the worse his memory will be.

  • unsol

This to me is on par with those who are on holiday supposedly having a fabulous time yet twittering or facebooking all & sundry about it.

It’s like social media has gotten to the point where many no longer know how to live.

I didn’t click on the page as I didn’t want to add to his views. Personally this an exercise in humiliation rather than good parenting. I’m all for allowing children – if the check list has been checked off – to self settle, but they always ALWAYS deserve validation.

Last time I checked this did not include taking a picture.

Makes me really sad for this gorgeous wee man. He deserves better.

Sorry about the bold – I can’t seem to bold one word so obviously doing it wrong!

      • start bold <b>

        end bold <b>

        notbold bold notbold

        • unsol

Thanks but it didn’t work – tried putting the code either side of your name & the whole sentence went bold?

          • Bunswalla

Make sure you get the slash going in the right direction i.e. not /

          • unsol

I actually didnt put a …didn’t read properly! But just tried it & the same thing happened. Is it a Mac vs Windows thing perhaps?

  • Of course it is good parenting; but no doubt the left wingers will want to ban it

  • Seems to me

Seems to me this series lack balance. How about seeing the little fellow smiling and laughing!!

    • PlanetOrphan

Exactly kid’s been crying for 6 days straight from what I can tell.
And it’s probably a lot more.

  • Lion_ess

The kid looks miserable, running nose in almost every photo. Why any parent would be more interested in photographing and publishing this as some queer validation of his parenting skills is beyond me. Better to have a happier child.

  • Dion

His tone implies that he expects to be able to reason with a kid that age.

I don’t know where the hell he got that idea.

    • Lion_ess

Agree, the kid’s probably crying in every photo because he has a fuckwit for a father.

  • cows4me

Oh for fucks sake put him in the tractor and go and work up a paddock or feed the cows, how hard is that.

  • Fat Sally

I thought it was fucking funny, but mainly because I can totally relate to the situations. Some people here need to take their meds that make them relax and smile a bit.

  • BJ

He’s crying because he is either hungry , tired, needs a hug or needs a nappy change. No analysis required – life is pretty straight forward at this age.

    • unsol

      But not his photo taken!

    • Fat Sally

My son this morning, after having 11 hours sleep, a big cuddle in my bed, his nappy changed and three Weetbix for breakfast decided to cry because our cat was sitting on the window ledge outside.

However, I fully take the blame because for neglecting my child and pampering to his every whim. I should have gone outside onto the balcony, scaled across the ledge on my tip toes and gently retrieved the cat to bring inside.

I should post this anonymously as to not draw the attention to CYFS.

      • BJ

Yes you’re right – no not really – I hadn’t checked out the blogsite.
I have 5 almost all adult children and fully appreciate the different age-related stages they go through including when nothing suits them and they are contrary about everything. I’d had a couple of wines when I posted the above last night:)

  • These pics made me hate that kid. That can’t be right.
