Stuart Nash’s Not So Secret Hypocrisy

Stuart Nash has joined up with his enemies at a little read blog site and for his first post has a piece titled:

The problem is that just as Truth exposed with Nicky Hager and his secret trust structure paid for and set-up by his own legal expert and holding at least two properties;

Stuart Nash is not above his own “great (legal) lengths” to structure his own affairs.

As with Nicky Hager, and every left-leaning politician spitting out this nonsense on tax avoidance.  Why does Stuart Nash have a family trust?

– asset protection?

– reduce income?

– avoid being sued?

– matrimonial property?

All the same reasons businesspeople go offshore or to trust advisors as Nash did in New Zealand, to do exactly the same thing.

If Nash really wants a capital gains tax or higher taxes, voters should ask how desperate he has been in the past to pay his share and be transparent about his own dealings.

Rather than being all sanctimonious in the little read far-left corner of the blogosphere he should come clean and declare just exactly why he did what he now rails against.

As much at home writing editorials as being the subject of them, Cam has won awards, including the Canon Media Award for his work on the Len Brown/Bevan Chuang story.  And when he’s not creating the news, he tends to be in it, with protagonists using the courts, media and social media to deliver financial as well as death threats.

They say that news is something that someone, somewhere, wants kept quiet.   Cam Slater doesn’t do quiet, and as a result he is a polarising, controversial but highly effective journalist that takes no prisoners.

He is fearless in his pursuit of a story.

Love him or loathe him.  But you can’t ignore him.
