Weekend shoppers aren’t safe either

More at Westfield Glenfield. They just don’t give a shit.

No, they don’t.  Although you have to give this one points for creativity

I know they might not be perfectly inside the lines, but these seem okay to me. They are not in anyones way. Even the ironically named “smart car” seems ideal for that gap (the lines on the road are meaningless and it doesn’t seem they are over the access ways).

If we got a real ticket for any of these I reckon we’d be up in arms.

I agree. Nothing to see here move along.

You guys got triangle shaped cars up there? Top picture?

    • Dave

almost, but i think your chainsaw has a more powerful motor.

I think the Smart car is parked in an ingenious manner. If I were them I would do the same. It is not a case of 1 car parking in 2 spaces. It is 1 car creating a parking space out of nothing. As for some of the other photos, many of the cars are off centre as the car next to them is off centre. They have just made the situation worse by being a little diagonal and they have encroached upon a walkway and not on someone else’s car park. I think better examples needed to make your point.

Good points Grizz30. Also, some of those slots look awfully narrow, eg the ute would barely fit between the lines anyway. Recently I visited a client whose building has underground parking. The visitor slots were virtually impossible to access with a full-size car, due to both the slots and the access lane being very narrow, together with a plethora of concrete posts for the unwary. You simply couldn’t make the turn in the radius available. Eventually I got in at a ridiculous angle then, mindful that WO cameras are everywhere, spent 5 minutes straightening up.

That red and black shitbox is at Browns Bay. Trendsetter

Indeed Steve, outside the empty Palmers Garden Centre i believe, you must live close to there.

Not easy parking is some of those narrow parks. Gosh – Whale army spies from Devonport to Glenfield ………………. Will have to park very carefully now.
    Rather cute little car though.
