Plan crashes, Len Brown in tears…oh wait

Here was me thinking the whole of Auckland had given the finger to Len Brown…and then I realised then I was reading the Herald on Sunday, edited by Bryce Johns…who wrote me a letter about his “decent journalists, trained and skilled”.

Plan Crashes

It was a plane crash of course, not the unitary plan.

“Here was me thinking the whole of Auckland had given the finger to Len Brown…and then I realised [the] I was reading the Herald on Sunday, edited by Bryce Johns…who wrote me a letter about his “decent journalists, trained and skilled”.”

    FAIL.

    • Bad__Cat

Slight difference noddy, the Herald is NZ’s major News outlet with numerous paid professionals, WOBF is. Personal blog with volunteer help. Are you saying their standards should be the same?

      • Chad Chambers

Yes, there are differences. One at least tries to cover events in an even handed way so readers can form their own opinions; the other, not so much.

Just pointing out that you live and die by the sword / he who is without sin, etc. If print errors are going to be the backbone of this blog’s criticism of the media then this blog had better dot its i’s and cross its t’s. It looks silly otherwise.

  • Michael

This is obviously photo shopped. There is no way the Herald staff could be this incompetent.

  • Chad Chambers

    That, not then.

I could be your proof-reader if you want.

    • Lion_ess

Editorial advice, proof-reading service, comment mediation advice – jeez start your own blog – wait, you’ve probably got one nobody reads, right?

      • Travis Poulson

Yep they all come here to whore for an audience. Phil Ure, John Stringer, Andrei, Redbaiter…..there’s a couple we allow but that’s about it.

      • Chad Chambers

I’m not interested in blogging. Just curious that someone who uses his opponents’ typos to discredit them, can’t get his own type right.

        • Lion_ess

Opponent? Didn’t know Whaleoil was a national newspaper – sure he’ll be pleased you think so.

        • Dave

Chad. Chill out, sit back, enjoy the blog. Spelling and grammar is NOT 100% perfect, but for a FREE news and CA blog, with amazing comments, and insights into what real NZ is thinking, WOBH is simply beyond comparison.

If you enjoy being fed bullshit and lies, or want articles full of errors, and political bias buy a herald, but you cant comment.

Go figure Chad, get with the program……….

I see the Shearer Stars Times has revealed that Rugby player Dylan Hartley has form for “bitting”. Who would have thought?
