Winston Peters, the panting pensioner huffs & puffs

So where’s the lawsuit?

Last night on Campbell Live, the panting pensioner Winston Peters, finally got called out on some of his dog whistle xenophobic bullsh*t about Asian immigrants.

Peters couldn’t/wouldn’t stack up his claims – so they ambushed him at the airport, where the huffing and puffing liar accused Rebecca Wright of lying and threatened to sue. O RLY!

Well worth a watch as Rebecca Wright nails the panting pensioner and kudos to the camera man for having eyes in the back of his head as he navigated Auckland Airport walking backwards…trying to avoid the panting pensioner.

Clearly the Panting Pensioner doesn’t have the staying power anymore. A life of booze, fags and late nights has taken its toll.

I actually thought he gave the reporter the bash.

    • flashman

Yeah, aggressive body language with the rolled newspaper there. He should cut it out. She didn’t let it faze her though, good on her.

  • Josh Metcalfe

As much as I loathe Winnie, the “interview” was trash and I’m a little disappointed that Campbell ran the story

    • Liberty

      The reporter is hero.
For the first time we have a reporter to stand up to the charlatan.
The only reason Peters is in parliament is because the mainstream
media have been spineless useless tits.

      • Josh Metcalfe

Stand up how? By shouting over each other? It is rubbish journalism and anyone who disagrees can’t lament the decline in journalistic quality because they’re feeding it.

      • IWantToBeLikeMallardOneDay

And loads of people are stupid enough to think that he will fight for them. Not just the cotton buds, but lots of Maori people who think he’s a “hard man”.

  • Donovan Jackson

    What a cunt.

  • maninblack

I cannot stand Winston, but i cannot stand pinko Campbell either- it was a crap attack piece of journalism that was pay back for Winny embarrassing Campbell on Monday night.

    • Dave

Long may both Winnie the Pooh scrap with Commie Campbell, best result is a double knockout – no more Winnie or Campbell, win win situation.

      • Sir Cullen’s Sidekick

I am expecting a punch up between these two!! That will be good fun….

        • Dave

Perhaps PD can sell tickets to the punchup, be a hell of a fund raiser for his united future!

          • IWantToBeLikeMallardOneDay

            Campbell would use his fingernails.

        • Goldie

There is already dwarf boxing on Sky, so Campbell v. Peters wouldn’t be anything new.

          • Apolonia

            Pygmy boxing?

      • 4077th

        Noddy and Big Ears..

  • Col

The only thing Winston is chasing is his own ass, he is full of Sh^^&.

  • Rangi

Winnie in full flight (as opposed to fight)

  • Sir Cullen’s Sidekick

Do you think the media has suddenly woken up to the fact that Communists, Hippies, Poo and Horny are the actual villains and not John Key?

    • sheppy

      Lets hope so!

  • Sir Cullen’s Sidekick

Full credit to the cameraman for walking backwards so elegantly without tripping….

  • Never in the dark…..

    Cute and sharp.

  • BJ

    Gee she was good.

The Winnie personality is that of bombastic deflector. Continually drowning out anything opposing his view or what he doesn’t want to acknowledge. Childish and intimidating behaviour simultaneously – the ‘If I don’t see you you can’t see me’ and notice the repetitive accusations over and over again. No-one will ever get the better of him in a conversation because he has to win at all costs. Rebecca did very well to keep it up – it was amusing to watch him cornered. If would be shocking if it was an an undeserving hounding by the press but in this instance I thought it was a great piece of journalism

    • Vlad

It wasn’t journalism, it was theatre, but no less entertaining for that.

  • Michael

I am really enjoying the focus on Winston lately, normally Pinko News give him a platform to parrot on his propaganda.

Finally, the MSM is focusing on the source of his propaganda. Keep tighting the thumbs screws, watch him squirm.

  • Apolonia

His house of cards is falling.

  • I thought it was shoddy journalism, reminded me of Jesse Watters on fox news.

  • Whafe

I despise Winston and Campbell. How does one play against such a slimey excuse for a human in an interview…
    Not easy… I bet
The piss has got to him…. It gets to most in the end when you consume what he does…

  • Pissedoffyouth

Uh what the fuck did I just watch?

“You’re a liar” well I trust his judgement on that – he has some experience in lying himself

  • LesleyNZ

That was just hilarious! Had such a good laugh. What was the lady taxi driver doing? Don’t think she wanted her face filmed. I do hope Winston has given up smoking. He sounds a bit short of breath……………………………………………..

  • Mr_V4

Winston reckons it is a suable offence to be interviewed in a public space? Good luck with that! Besides we all know he’s got no money for his court cases, otherwise he wouldn’t have had to hit up Owen Glenn for cash.

  • Tamaki

he appear to purposely hit the reporter’s microphone with his rolled up newspaper. Does this make him an abuser too?.

  • Sponge

I have just watched that twice and can’t make up my mind if he is completely mad and actually believes the shit that he spouts or if it is all just a bit of a joke to him.

There is no doubt he was drunk and has had far too many Rothmans.
