Hipkins first to hand in his man card

Crikey… I didn’t expect Hipkins to volunteer as the first man ban casualty…

Chris Hipkins is the first Labour MP to hand in his man card. Perhaps he thinks he can get in on the ginger quota.

Labour whip Chris Hipkins is backing his party’s proposal to try to get more women in parliament, as long as they deserve it.

The party is considering proposals to have female only candidates in some electorates.

Chris Hipkins believes having more women in parliament will help eliminate discrimination in New Zealand politics.

However he says there shouldn’t be discrimination in the process.

WTF? No discrimination in the process…banning men form even being a candidate IS discrimination.

Hipkins also has a big qualifier  there, he is “backing his party’s proposal to try to get more women in parliament, as long as they deserve”…so next question is;

Which females have not deserved it?

Perhaps Chris Hipkins might like to name names.

As much at home writing editorials as being the subject of them, Cam has won awards, including the Canon Media Award for his work on the Len Brown/Bevan Chuang story. When he’s not creating the news, he tends to be in it, with protagonists using the courts, media and social media to deliver financial as well as death threats.

They say that news is something that someone, somewhere, wants kept quiet. Cam Slater doesn’t do quiet and, as a result, he is a polarising, controversial but highly effective journalist who takes no prisoners.

He is fearless in his pursuit of a story.
