  • New game starting today, thanks to James:

What trivia item does the photo refer to, and why?

    • P1LL

The Terminal of course :) Snowden is in limbo just like Mehran Karimi Nasseri

      • Correct. I’m told they’ll get harder once we get the hang of it :)

        • Hazards001

Bugger…I was gonna go for the Chicken thing since he’s a cock for betraying his country on a so called principal and a Chicken for running away from his so called principals.

          • Honourable runner up, I think.

          • Bunswalla

No honour in not knowing your principles from your principals.

The sun at 99.98% of the solar systems mass has nothing to do with our weather …no man is the culprit for global warming or in its watered down version climate change … sounds like we are farting against thunder

    • You’re preaching my sermon. The sun so much as blinks it has a measurable effect on our planet.

  • Never in the dark…..

Snowden is stupid for many reasons, one of them is not paying attention to the likes of the NZ being a soft touch. We’d never entertain the notion of keeping him in the airport. We’d squander millions on him and then arrange and pay for his family to come out…..

On the contrary he has been quite smart, managed to avoid being taken into custody thus far and the world is getting a taste of the bullying behaviour of the US.

The refusal of some European countries to give overflight rights to the Bolivian President based on a poor US tipoff as only one example. At least the Bolivian President will stand up for his people unlike our present dear leader, who seemed to be in a contest for first to bend over.

Plus Greenwald has said there are plenty more leaks awaiting release.

      Interesting times …

  • Cadwallader

An academic has suggested that this plonker receive the Nobel Peace Prize! I doubt that it would cheapen the prize despite his idiocy. One just needs to look at previous recipients…Desmond Tutu, Obama, Mother Theresa, Al Gore…to wonder at the sense of this giveaway.
