What does everyone else think? Ctd

Some people like to comment others like to email. This is an email commenting on my earlier post about an email from a reader.

An interesting thought provoking post on today’s Whaleoil Blog.

I see some are wanting you to become the new ‘Fair-Go’ of the Blogosphere, while others love the randomness of your anarchistic postings.

However,the real opportunity for the direction of your blog is to expose Farrar as the Fraud he is.

Cam, you are right, a travel, fitness and arts blogger does not head to the ‘Land of all you can Eat’, to laze around a pool, while engaging in the proclivities of gambling whilst randomly retweeting what he has read on the online version of the Listener magazine.

There is something more sinister here than he’s letting on.

Let’s look at the facts:

  • He’s Middle aged man in the USA travelling with a much younger woman;
  • He is frequenting Koru Lounges;
  • He has been working out a lot and is seen in the company of women;
  • He has links to Officials in Government and is playing high stakes games at Casinos;
  • He has only the best Hotel Suites;
  • He has arranged a series of clandestine ‘friends’ meetings in the USA;
  • He is not a friend of the Left or even Communism;

Cam, you don’t have to be very bright, nor do you need to mentally stretch one’s brain.

But it’s obvious David is thinking he’s New Zealand’s answer to Daniel Craig.

So sad Cam, so sad.

As much at home writing editorials as being the subject of them, Cam has won awards, including the Canon Media Award for his work on the Len Brown/Bevan Chuang story. When he’s not creating the news, he tends to be in it, with protagonists using the courts, media and social media to deliver financial as well as death threats.

They say that news is something that someone, somewhere, wants kept quiet. Cam Slater doesn’t do quiet and, as a result, he is a polarising, controversial but highly effective journalist who takes no prisoners.

He is fearless in his pursuit of a story.

Love him or loathe him, you can’t ignore him.
