The Huddle

I was on The Huddle last night with host Larry Williams and Josie Pagani.

Our topics were be:

Now it’s a three horse race for the Labour leadership with Jones, Robertson and Cunliffe all putting their names forward to be voted on. The nasty has already started  and I would imagine to at some point they’re going to really start pointing out each other’s weaknesses and then after the winner is declared they’ve all got to go back to work as a “united” party.

The creepy fat German now retweeting photos of Stephanie Key. He’s breaking all the rules. The children of the pollies are off limits – no matter what. I think that the fat German’s now in danger of completely running himself out of town, as the poor girl doesn’t chose what her parents do and doesn’t want to know about it, so who the hell is he to pull her in to the political arena?

I think this one was one of the best…listen to my view of all three leadership contenders.

A few great sledges in there – especially liked the one about Robertson being the new leader ….because he likes being stabbed from behind… Gold!

    • redeye

Coffee back up the nose when I heard that. Outstanding dig.

  • johnbronkhorst

robertson: “I’m gay, but it doesn’t matter. Did I mention I was gay and I’m sure I said it doesn’t matter, that I am GAY that is!……….”
jones: I don’t mean to suggest that the ordinary man buys porn with someone else’s money and wanks himself in hotels.
cunliffe: I’m NOT ordinary, you voters, now YOU are ordinary. I’m extraordinary, because I am ME!!!

    • rockape

Reminds me of” I’m the only gay in the village”/ “your not as gay as me”

  • mike

The nastiness was continued this morning on Breakfast when they interviewed Weaselly Wussel… he is just a vile horrible little man.

  • David Cunliffe says this leadership contest is about getting “the right pegs in the right holes which seems to be a backhanded attack on Grant Robertson who really is the natural Labour leader in this lot given he enjoys being stabbed from behind — Cameron Slater.

You evil, evil political commentator you.

    • Quote of the day?

      • BigDes

Definitely. I’ll have a smile on my face all day.

      • 4077th

        Yep, I rekon. +1

    • 4077th

Yes I almost drove into the car in front of me laughing my tits off when I heard that last night..nobody reacted not Larry or Josie..maybe just my gutter mind..

      • Larry is getting very good at hitting the Mute button on his mike. Spies tell me last week he was off air for a considerable amount of time after Cam summarised the NZ Herald Tampon non-story beatup as “If it bleeds, it leads”.

        • 4077th

I knew something was coming as soon as Cam said right pegs in the right holes.I credit my mother for my filthy mind..thanks mum!

  • Brian of Mt Wellington

One of the questions being asked was ” Is NZ ready for a gay Prime Minister “. I thought we’d already had one the only exception was that they still haven’t come out of the closet.

    • cows4me

True Brian so to repeat the exercise would be the height of stupidity, would it not.

    • Mr_V4

At least if we were governed from closets the cost of leasing parliamentary offices would decline dramatically.

  • The creepy fat German now retweeting photos of Stephanie Key. He’s breaking all the rules. The children of the pollies are off limits

    • Hazards001

Your point? Cams post was in support of her art. The fut slugs twits are just taking a shot at her father.

    • fozzie2

Well wa’il didn’t think so – the only commentator still raising it three days later photos included !!
