  • George Stinney was born in South Carolina. Image is of the South Carolina Gamecocks football team.

    • James Howlett

Took you all of three minutes? Impressive. I’m a Tar Heels fan myself.

  • BobaJob

    1 of the 10,000 was a wiener

  • Yawn

Um, if you were trying to be clever about Weiner, then you’ve suffered an epic fail,,,

    • BobaJob

I before the E. The Euclidean Algoritthm will answer your question for you.

      • opusx

        The what???

        • BobaJob

It’s a mathematical method that is sometimes used to break or decrypt what is known as the RSA algorithm – security used in emails, credit card transactions etc. It’s called the Wiener attack after the brain box that come up with it.

          • opusx

            Oh…:-)

  • opusx

Caucasian clearly wasn’t coined for me then. And the Wiener Attack link to wiki just gave me a headache.

If you want to read a facinating book about the genetic effects from the eruption of 70000 years ago try “Seven Daughters of Eve” By Brian Sykes

  • Jman

A wiener attack is also when a democrat politician running for mayor of New York sends you a picture of his penis.

Who was the German philosopher? Was it Meiners or Blumenbach?

    • James Howlett

Believe it was Meiners with Blumenbach coming later, but I’m not an expert: my interest in ze Germans has been limited to Kant – and Wittgenstein if you want to lump him in as German.

      • IWantToBeLikeMallardOneDay

I know little about either writer. I think of them as anthropologists rather than philosophers. I know a lot about Kant also, but I find Wittgenstein difficult to understand. Schopenhauer is very great and much easier to read than Kant. There are books by Bryan Magee on Schopenhauer which are very clear, but the writer himself is brilliant if you compare him to the obscurantist style of most of the Krauts, Nietzsche excluded.
Oswald Spengler is a nutter worth reading too.
