Fat Rich Pricks are supposed to race yachts not run for office

Clive Palmer has the shits with the Australian Electoral Commission and reckons he is going to take them to court.

JUST as Clive Palmer’s lead in votes was plummeting, his outrage over the electoral process was growing, leading the billionaire to seek a court injunction and a new poll.

Mr Palmer was being reeled in by the LNP on Monday and Monday night was just 362 votes ahead in counting in the Queensland seat of Fairfax – down from more than 1000 last week – as he made claims of “tampering” by authorities.

The complaint centred on his claims that 768 ballots had vanished from a Coolum Beach pre-poll centre only to emerge at a booth at Buderim.

The Australian Electoral Commission described this on Monday as a sorting error that had had no impact on the count.

“What a farce,” Mr Palmer said of the discrepancy.

The only farce is that bombasts like palmer can get elected.

As much at home writing editorials as being the subject of them, Cam has won awards, including the Canon Media Award for his work on the Len Brown/Bevan Chuang story.  And when he’s not creating the news, he tends to be in it, with protagonists using the courts, media and social media to deliver financial as well as death threats.

They say that news is something that someone, somewhere, wants kept quiet.   Cam Slater doesn’t do quiet, and as a result he is a polarising, controversial but highly effective journalist that takes no prisoners.

He is fearless in his pursuit of a story.

Love him or loathe him.  But you can’t ignore him.
