Hipkins already proposing school closures?

In the Wanganui Chronicle today Labour’s Chris Hipkins makes this throw away comment:

“We’ve already got too many schools around the country…”

Keeping in mind he holds Trevor Mallard up on a pedestal and when Mallard was Minister of Education his sole purpose seemed to be school closures.

So which schools has Hipkins already got in mind for closure and in which cities and regions?

Perhaps h could list them so people know in advance what they are voting for.

On the other hand, Chris Hipkins is unlikely to survive any purge in Labour’s caucus if David Cunliffe wins the leadership…so maybe we should just be a little bit patient.

As much at home writing editorials as being the subject of them, Cam has won awards, including the Canon Media Award for his work on the Len Brown/Bevan Chuang story.  And when he’s not creating the news, he tends to be in it, with protagonists using the courts, media and social media to deliver financial as well as death threats.

They say that news is something that someone, somewhere, wants kept quiet.   Cam Slater doesn’t do quiet, and as a result he is a polarising, controversial but highly effective journalist that takes no prisoners.

He is fearless in his pursuit of a story.
