It’s a dirty job…

Second day in a row…looks like Emmerson is earning a good crust from me.

The message is as true for compost as it is for ethics. Keep it up.

    • Orange

      That’s what she said

  • Martin White

I like Emmerson’s cartoons, especially the last couple of days but shouldn’t he be lampooning Auckland’s pathetic excuse for a mayor?

    • Orange

Well, he’s saying the mayor is poo…

      • Martin White

Ohhhh yeeeaahhhh – I bit slow on it.

    • patrickstarr

Yeah, I thought of one as the Brown Dirt Cowboy – fastest gun in the west

(packs a small gun – but its got a real hair trigger)

    • he tried to, but len couldn’t pose for longer than 2 minutes for him to draw him.

  • Magoo

You’d think it would be the 4th estate’s job to research our beloved leaders, not an amateur blogger. Someone’s not doing their job.

    • Bretto

I was going to say the same thing, I didn’t see Emmerson or aunty Herald keeping Len honest…

  • LesleyNZ

He left out your tattoo both times. Next time Ems draw it please.

I think this cartoon is a compliment to Cam by the cartoonist. If there was no dirt there, it would not need anyone to get involved, shitty jobs are the hardest, keep up the good work.

Let’s also remember that for any landscape to thrive – it needs the unsung hero’s to do their work behind the scene’s. No garden survives without good worms. No political landscape exists without the gardener Whale Worm to sort the bull shit from the dirt from the clay.
It was very nice of Emmerson though to point out that Whale is cleaning up and protecting NZ’s political landscape…

They say you have made it if
1 You have a cartoon in a paper about you.
2 You get an Obit in the Daily Telegraph or the Times.
    No 1 has been accomplished.
I hope no 2 not for many a long year.
You are showing the MSM up for what they are a bunch of lazy churnalists.

    • Patrick

Lazy conflicted churnalists, Brown is one of their own, if it had been a National Party person they would have been fighting over the story. Recall the travails of Richard Worth?

    • Bunswalla

And if you have a cartoon about you two days in a row – that shows they are cacking themselves and desperately trying to shoot the messenger.
