Colbert and Fox News family rallies behind Duck Dynasty’s Phil Robertson

There is much support for Phil Robertson, now Fox News has jumped into the fray.

A&E suspends Phil Robertson, the partriach of the Duck Dynasty cast, for making homophobic and racist remarks during a GQ interview. Stephen Colbert and the Fox News family rally to Robertson’s defense and blame the Word Police for all the evils in the world.

The biggest rating show ever on American TV and A&E are afraid of the reaction of a bunch of outraged loons who probably don’t even watch the show.

They should be more worried about 11 million gun-toting rednecks who are fans of Duck Dynasty.

As much at home writing editorials as being the subject of them, Cam has won awards, including the Canon Media Award for his work on the Len Brown/Bevan Chuang story.  And when he’s not creating the news, he tends to be in it, with protagonists using the courts, media and social media to deliver financial as well as death threats.

They say that news is something that someone, somewhere, wants kept quiet.   Cam Slater doesn’t do quiet, and as a result he is a polarising, controversial but highly effective journalist that takes no prisoners.

He is fearless in his pursuit of a story.

Love him or loathe him.  But you can’t ignore him.
