Comment of the Day

To be truthful, there have been many, but this one was one of the first:

Clearly [Cameron Slater] meets any and all criteria to be considered a journalist and with decent representation in court this should be provable.

As for the position that traditional journalists adhere to ethics this is patently absurd and every page of most papers shows this is most certainly not the case.  

A glaring example of lack of ethics in recent times is the long term and one-sided stance the Herald’s David Fisher has stridently assumed on behalf of Mr Kim Dotcom.

We now know all the while he was writing a book ( now published) on the man in question.

I suggest that had he or his editors an ounce of integrity, they should have had him declare this blatant and self serving bias to every single article and tweet he generated on the subject.
