Cry me river of tears SAFE

Oh boo ho, SAFE continues to bang on about the welfare of animals.  Typical activist ploy, shoot a whole bunch of b-grade actors from Shortland Street in black & white, then use it to solicit dosh of the bleeding heart liberals in Mt Eden. TV3 should know better.

It’s a bit like all those Hollywood actors complaining about gun laws in the States. Problem was there was a slight issue of credibility, when nearly all of them were quite happy to star in movies shooting the crap out of things.

SAFE has a small problem as well. It’s a small thing called consistency.

Not only are they charity muggers, happily sitting on a nest of over $900,000 but they were as silent as a church mouse when Ag Research tested botulism on 5 of Stuart Little’s cousins. Not a peep from SAFE about protecting the poor wee mice.

SAFE was also nowhere to be seen or heard when Green MP Steffan Browning was supporting the now discredited Seralini GE study, which saw testing on Stuart Little’s other cousins.

So next time you see SAFE and vegansexual Hans Kriek banning on about animal rights, realise it’s just all about the money.

As much at home writing editorials as being the subject of them, Cam has won awards, including the Canon Media Award for his work on the Len Brown/Bevan Chuang story.  And when he’s not creating the news, he tends to be in it, with protagonists using the courts, media and social media to deliver financial as well as death threats.

They say that news is something that someone, somewhere, wants kept quiet.   Cam Slater doesn’t do quiet, and as a result he is a polarising, controversial but highly effective journalist that takes no prisoners.

He is fearless in his pursuit of a story.

Love him or loathe him.  But you can’t ignore him.
