Kim Dotcom: Owns rare copy of Mein Kampf, a Nazi flag & loves Adolf Hitler [AUDIO]

Brook Sabin and Patrick Gower on 3News have broken the story that Kim Dotcom owns a copy of Adolf Hitler’s treatise ‘Mein Kampf’. Dotcom has admitted to owning the book and so that is not in dispute. He also claims he has no Nazi sympathies. That is about to be dispelled.

This story on 3News is coincidentally parallel to our own investigations.

In an exclusive WOBH investigation we can reveal yet another missing chapter in the secret life of Kim Dotcom and provide deeper details about Kim Dotcom and his love for Adolf Hitler.

On May 21 2011 Alex Mardikian sat down for breakfast with Kim Dotcom in Spain.

After his flight from the US via London he was tired but little did he know that his world was about to be shaken by the internet shyster.

On the table with the usual continental breakfast foods was also a book and Dotcom sat beaming, animated, excited to show something to Mardikian. He was awe-struck by the book. Mardikian says he was clearly on a power trip over owning this book.

Dotcom reached across the table and presented a book. It was an old book, and upon opening it Mardikian was shocked and surprised to find that the book was Mein Kampf by Adolf Hitler.

This was not any ordinary copy though, it was a limited edition of the book, personally signed by Adolf Hitler and dedicated to one of the founders of the Nazi party who was incarcerated with Adolf Hitler. The book is dated Christmas Eve 1925 and dedicated to Hermann Esser, who was one of the founders of the Nazi party and also in prison for his part in the Munich Beer Hall Putsch in 1923.

One of 20, rare autographed copies of Mein Kampf dedicated to the founder of the Nazi party

One of 20, rare autographed copies of Mein Kampf dedicated to the founder of the Nazi party

Dotcom was excited, he had only recently bought the book for  £21,600 through an intermediary bidding through Mullocks auctioneers who handled the sale.

At the time Richard Westwood Brookes, of Mullocks auctioneers, said: ‘This is probably the rarest ever edition of Mein Kampf ever to be offered at auction. It is one of 20 – you can’t get much rarer than that.

‘It is signed by Hitler, which makes it an even rarer version of the first edition.

‘The unsigned copies of the 1925 edition make thousands in their own right because they are so rare but this one is one of a very small group within the 500 that were produced.

‘The first edition in 1925 carries the 1925 imprint on it.’

Dotcom asked what Mardikian thought about the fact he now owned a book written by “the greatest German who has ever lived”.

Mardikian was now faced with a dilemma. He had only a short association so far with Dotcom, was working with him on many projects and now he was presented with a book that he despised. Did he risk his future by arguing with the internet mogul? With Kim Dotcom you either agree wholeheartedly or you say nothing, Mardikian said nothing such was his disgust at what he had seen.

Mardikian is Armenian by descent, but was raised by a German step-father, who made the young nine year old Mardikian sit down and read Mein Kampf so he could learn of the “struggle”.

Mardikian says this was one of things that changed his life. So much so he no longer communicates with his step-father.

“Like parents feeding kids brussels sprouts and okra it turns them off the vegetables for ever” he said.

“That was how I felt as an Armenian, people persecuted by the Nazis, being forced to read and memorise this book by a man I and my countrymen despised”.

On top of that Mardikian was married to a woman of Jewish descent and his son is half-Jewish. This was shocking to him.

This statement by Mardikian puts the book in Dotcom’s hands as the owner. He used an intermediary to buy the book and store the book, and when he got wind that this story was going to break he also demanded that another intermediary take the fall for it. Kim Dotcom is never one to suffer the consequences of his own actions.

Dotcom’s closest confidantes implored him not to buy the book, that no good could come of owning a book written by one of the most despised men in world history.

Dotcom stated to many people, including Mardikian, that he bought the book because he idolises Adolf Hitler, rather than because it was simply a historic book.

Mardikian then witnessed a couple of weeks later, along with editors, and camera crews and many others a truly shocking incident on a private beach in Europe. This incident was recorded and copies exist in a number of locations. Mardikian says the incident confirmed in his mind that he was working for someone who harboured Nazi tendencies and sympathies.

Listen to Mardikian’s comments, about why he is bothered by these incident:

Further investigations by WOBH have revealed that not only does Kim Dotcom own a signed and autographed copy of Mein Kampf, one of the rarest copies on the market, but he also possesses other Nazi memorabilia.

One item is a Nazi flag, that until recently was displayed in the cellar of his mansion at Coatesville.

The flag was given to him on his birthday in 2011 by one of his guests at his birthday party.

At the time of the birthday and the gift Kim Dotcom exclaimed to all in attendance that this was “the best present he had ever been given”.

He profusely thanked the guest repeating over and over how happy he was to have received the flag. Again his closest confidantes remonstrated with Dotcom over the flag and he shrugged off the criticism by claiming it was all a big joke.

The rarest of the rare, just 20 copies of the first edition were signed by Adolf Hitler

The rarest of the rare, just 20 copies of the first edition were signed by Adolf Hitler

WOBH can confirm that the flag is still in the possession of Dotcom because in the days after the raids two staff were tidying up ahead of the arrival of John Campbell and his cameras. They were going to tour the mansion for a soft piece on the aftermath of the raid.

Those two staff thought, rightly, that the flag wouldn’t look good on television and so folded it up and put it away for safe keeping in some boxes also stored in the cellar.

One former staff member spoken to by WOBH (who wishes to remain anonymous due to ongoing threats from Dotcom) in our ongoing investigations of the REAL secret life of Kim Dotcom has told us that regularly, at dinner, Nazi salutes would be made and Nazi chants like “Heil Hitler”  and “Sieg Heil” were made, especially if the guests were mainly German.

When you add all this up you get the over-riding impression that Kim Dotcom harbours nazi sympathies, and has a German superiority complex. You certainly get this impression clearly with his little history lesson of how great the Germans were in history as told to his wife Mona Dotcom.

Alex Mardikian with two of Dotcom's cars

Alex Mardikian with two of Dotcom’s cars

Another former staff member (again they have requested protection due to threats against their family by Dotcom) told WOBH that “Kim is a big fan of Hitler, he loves him and thinks he is the greatest German ever to have lived”.

There can be no other reason to buy one of the rarest of all copies of Mein Kampf and delightedly show it off to people. Why would you celebrate being given a nazi flag for your birthday and why else would you make nazi salutes and chants in front of staff, unless you were a subscriber to Hitler’s disgusting nazi political beliefs. This is n’t just an act of a collector wanting a copy of Mein Kampf, it is about the subscription tot he beliefs contained with in the book and the beliefs of the author.

You would only do that if you harboured pride, admiration and the beliefs in one of the most evil regimes to ever plunge the world into conflict.

The fact that many Kiwi soldiers died fighting that regime to free the world of racism, anti-Semitism and Nazism has obviously passed Dotcom by as he seeks to enter New Zealand politics.

One can only wonder what Kiwi voters will think when they find out more of the REAL secret life of Kim Dotcom, essentially the missing chapters of his life that David Fisher failed to discover or write about. Ahead of the launch of the Internet party we think this vital information is important for voters to know.

On the surface though it is probably appropriate that Kim Dotcom’s nascent Internet party is talking with the Mana party. Adolf Hitler was a racist and a nationalist, so is Hone Harawira, albeit a Maori nationalist. Kim Dotcom as a fan of Hitler probably sees some synergies in coalescing with a racist and a nationalist in New Zealand too.

Perhaps Dotcom’s abiding hatred for John Key can be put down to the fact that John Key is of jewish descent. Perhaps too this is why he seeks to go to war with Hollywood, which conspiracy theorists will have you know is controlled by the Jews.

More will be revealed in coming weeks as we seek to expose the REAL secret life of Kim Dotcom.

Sounds like Kim Dot Com is about to have a Kampf of his very own. Also, is it actually possible to Godwin this thread, or is that a fait accompli?

    • Dotcom Godwinned the thread, even before it was written. That’s a rare, if not especially memorable achievement.

    • phronesis

A reverse Godwin is when the conversation wanders off topic to not talking about the Nazi connection.

    • mike

Matt Robson, was also a non born NZ citizen, who was also a NZ Politican for the Alliance Party – Jim Anderton ( which is more Labour Party aligned ?? I would think?? ) Matt was Minister of Corrections and also had other posts while in Government, he describes himself as an Aussie of German Decent – he once showed me his copy of Mein Kampf and that he believes in the Herrenvolk – it would appear that by this Matt Robson then also should not have been an MP.

Missed that. I don’t think my mind could believe it.
As much as Paddy is irritating, he occasionally lands it.

  • Odd Ball

There’s going to be a lot of KDC followers in full retreat & denial of ever been a follower, after that revelation.

Good luck launching the new party now, perhaps he could save some dollars & just use that flag………….

    • rrroberto

if Kim dont want the flag, can he give it to his friend Russell Norman who has lost his flag. Even if Russel doesnt like the colour or design of Kims flag, he is still going to do his best to stop the Nasty people from extraditing his Freund Kim

***The fact that many Kiwi soldiers died fighting that regime to free the world of racism, anti-Semitism and Nazism has obviously passed Dotcom by as he seeks to enter New Zealand politics.***

Bullshit. The word “racism” had barely even entered the dictionary at the time of WWII.

I think Kiwi soldiers died fighting because we did what Mother England told us and Germany was a threat to the British.

Also, regarding Hollywood, according to Joel Stein in the Los Angeles Times:

“I have never been so upset by a poll in my life. Only 22% of Americans now believe “the movie and television industries are pretty much run by Jews,” down from nearly 50% in 1964. The Anti-Defamation League, which released the poll results last month, sees in these numbers a victory against stereotyping. Actually, it just shows how dumb America has gotten. Jews totally run Hollywood.

How deeply Jewish is Hollywood? When the studio chiefs took out a full-page ad in the Los Angeles Times a few weeks ago to demand that the Screen Actors Guild settle its contract, the open letter was signed by: News Corp. President Peter Chernin (Jewish), Paramount Pictures Chairman Brad Grey (Jewish), Walt Disney Co. Chief Executive Robert Iger (Jewish), Sony Pictures Chairman Michael Lynton (surprise, Dutch Jew), Warner Bros. Chairman Barry Meyer (Jewish), CBS Corp. Chief Executive Leslie Moonves (so Jewish his great uncle was the first prime minister of Israel), MGM Chairman Harry Sloan (Jewish) and NBC Universal Chief Executive Jeff Zucker (mega-Jewish). If either of the Weinstein brothers had signed, this group would have not only the power to shut down all film production but to form a minyan with enough Fiji water on hand to fill a mikvah.Jews totally run Hollywood.”

      http://articles.latimes.com/2008/dec/19/opinion/oe-stein19

      • Cool story mate.

All of that and I didn’t even get your point. What was it? Are you saying there is a jewish conspiracy against the nazi sympathizer?

        • YouKNOWitmakesSense

The first part of his post is accurate. NZ went to war because “Where Britain goes, we go. Where she stands, we stand” etc. Hitler’s perceived threat then was as a bully-boy with ambitious plans to rule the world. While he was promoting the “aryan super-race” (ironic since he was a weedy Austrian with a bad comb-over and the worst mustache in history) I don’t believe the world outside Germany, Poland and a couple of other places had quite cottoned on to what he was doing to the Jews until engagement was well and truly underway.

Similarly, the US only entered the war after Pearl Harbour and I don’t believe the Japanese had a view on the place of jews in the world.

The point being we didn’t go to war to free the world of racism or anti-semitism. The main thing we didn’t like about Nazism was its propensity for world domination, much less than the full horror of the final solution which really only emerged towards the end of the war.

      • Odd Ball

Right…., so racism, according to you didn’t really exist before WWII.

        • pukakidon

That is funny because as the NZEF including the Maori Battalion were stopping in South Africa and the Maoris were refused to land the other Kiwis on board (except for the White Officers) refused to go ashore as well.

The non Maori (other than the Officers) thought that was racist. So I think racism was around long before that.

  • tinks

Great work Cam lets hope you get the credit for it as well

  • rrroberto

Well he drives the same brand car as Adolf. Poor audio quality so couldnt quite get the gist, but hope he wasn’t crediting Adolf Hitler or any German with the Armenian Holocaust, that responsibility goes to the Turks. So owning a rare signed copy of mein Kampf … of all the things that money can buy, why that.? Not a crime, but not a good look for somebody wanting to get involved in politics. The flag would be quite handy as it does blend well with Hone’s flag., just take a minor adjustment to blend these two into one. He just cant fly it in Germany or any place where its illegal. Not sure if its illegal in NZ. Somebody does own Adolfs dark Blue Mercedes , is that a bad thing (Russian Millionaire) Why is TV3 breaking this news on the day before the Dotcom-Hone Party is launched, dont tell me they want to scupper the democratic freedom of all of Kim’s darling supporters. How very rude of TV3

    • pukakidon

I was thinking the same yesterday when looking at the Mana supporters with their hoods up in front of their Black, White and Red Banner. Same colours, racism, Nationalist believes angry and hateful.

  • lancelot

I knew the bastard was a nazi, he knows what happened to my family then? He should be deported before he is extradited….and all those that visited him should meet the same fate of this nazi….Shane Jones…Hone Harawera….Winston Peters….come on give me more names…all kow towing to a nazi in New Zealand….come on lets finish this bastard and the others with him….

We will see Russell the Nazi sympathiser waving a paper in his hand saying that “peace is at hand:, Her Dotcom has assured me that he is just wanting to take down the National party.

      • Don W

        Russel the 5th columnist.

      • andrew carrot

Russell can teach Dotcom a new phrase: “Give my flag back”

  • Well Done Cam and team. Not only have you exposed him for what he really is but YET AGAIN you have exposed the MSM as incapable of doing the research required to complete the story.
We are let down daily with print and broadcast media who are seemingly incapable or lazy or complicit in failing to report fully.

  • Jimmie

I’d say KDC next door knock will be from the nutters at the National Front seeing if they can jump into bed with him seeing they likely have similar views about life

    • andrew carrot

He’ll have to go to ChCh then…

      • Gaynor

No no no he can’t come here ….

        • Bart67

I agree, the ground isn’t stable enough to support the likes of him yet!

    • Funny you say that, as I said to Cam earlier tonight in a private conversation:

“eve of the party launch, that won’t go down well lol

he might get the National Front vote though”

      • POY

        Won’t winnie be happy?

      • pukakidon

He would be better to run in the south island, maybe one of the Labour members say from Dunedin might be joining his party.

    • caochladh

Yes, and cheap security too – brainless morons.

  • The Mentalist

It all seems to fit together. If Krim Dot Com want to be like Hitler then maybe John Campbell wants to be like the minister of propaganda, Joseph Goebbels.

    • pukakidon

The names are similar John No-balls

    • bristol

      More like Comical Ali.

  • thor42

Good on you for exposing him Cam.

  • wiltinpenis

I can’t be bothered reading more than the much I have read here.
    It is a book,
    It is an inanimate object.
It was signed by its author who proved to be a megalomaniac, annihilating millions.
I would own this book if I could.
    Where is Attila’s Diary?

  • I can’t help but wonder if Kim Dotcom ever uploaded his copy of Mein Kampf to Megaupload? Or did he only pirate other people’s stuff?

    • rrroberto

Dont think there is any copyright issue with Mein Kampf, no need to pirate it. Author unavailable and nobody claiming the publishing rights?

      • andrew carrot

Government of Bavaria owns the rights. Was due to republish this year.

        • 2015 is when it expires.

          • POY

I thought you could download the ebook for free? On that Australian universities site. 50 year rule and all that

    • caochladh

Der Spiegel explains “Through links on sites like kino.to, users often reached Schmitz’s websites, where the illegal content was then streamed or offered for download. The system functioned like an online media library, in which everything from current blockbusters to e-books and computer games could be had with a few mouse clicks — and for free. Meanwhile, Kim and his associates earned millions through online advertising.”

  • POY

  • OrphanIsland

Hitler was a murderer, a thief and a scabby little maggot.
No surprises DotCon can relate that critter.

  • pukakidon

No surprise there, no wonder the other socialist line such as the Greens and Labour up love to kiss his feet. Nazis were socialists just like the Labour and the Green parties.

Racist tendencies as well eh! that is aligned with the Racist Mana parties agenda.

  • andrew carrot

..and as the world collapsed around him, Dotcom retreated to his leased bunker knowing he would get comfort from his Xbox – until this happened: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sfkDxF2kn1I&feature=player_embedded

  • Cadwallader

In all honesty who cares whether KDC has a copy of Hitler’s ramblings or not? If we were to have a poll here as to which current NZ politician most resembles Hitler’s thoughts, I’d give it to Cunners. The reason why is his apparent selective morality i.e. “I hate the rich” despite being amongst them. He also bears a chameleon like bearing i.e. talking working class when it suits him, and (sort of) businessman-like when it suits him.

    • caochladh

His animated gestures remind me of Hitler when he started out practising in front of mirrors whilst being filmed so he could perfect his timing.

    • Brendan

This someone is the head of a political party, and seeks to change the prime minister of New Zealand. If he owns a rare signed copy of Mein Kampf and has a Nazi flag hanging on the wall of their home, then that is something that this voter thinks the public has a right to know.

    • He’s more than just a memorabilia collector, he is a sympathiser. This is much more than just a book.

      • Cadwallader

OK. Let’s not forget that a major plank of Nazism was ensuring personal fitness and the body-beautiful being maintained. This slob, even allowing for Goering, does not fit the physique of the true and dedicated Nazi. How can you assert he is a “sympathizer.” I have a copy of the Treaty, does that make me a fan of Hone’s?

        • Why would it, ToW has nothing to do with Hone.

That’s a long bow my friend :) I do see your point, however to be a sympathizer all one needs to do is be in agreement with a cause.

For him to fit the physique would take some massive dedication, but I feel that point alone is irrelevant anyway.

    • pukakidon

You can get an idea of what this guy is like mentally and how very little he cares about those that worked for him. This would not be tolerated in any workplace. It also has nothing in common with the NZ culture (other than the Mana Partys culture).

Using racist behavior and celebrating a man that was responsible for the murder of millions of women and children, in front of his employees is not only inappropriate but shows he is a complete megalomaniac. In his world those that work for him are subhuman and are to be treated like scum.

  • Reid

I think this is where KDC is coming from.

    http://thegreateststorynevertold.tv/

And as Chomsky once brilliantly said: “If you don’t believe in free speech for those you despise, you don’t believe in it at all”

  • FredFrog

‘Dotcom asked what Mardikian thought about the fact he now owned a book written by “the greatest German who has ever lived”.’

Hmm……DotCon really doesn’t know his history, does he. Claims the Eiffel tower was built with German steel, claims Hitler was a German……Last time I looked, and last time I visited the city, Linz was in Austria. However, many Austrians are very happy to let their Northern neighbours claim him.

  • skyshore

Before the extradition to the USA where Kim knows he will slammed up in an orange suit for a very long time, KDC is having narcissistic, monomaniacal fun with the New Zealand political system, ruining as many lives as he can along the way. The German Rattenfaenger of Hamelin, except this is New Zealand and the left are his children.

    • Adolf Fiinkensein

      Kim Zyklon B Dotcom

Fat Herman Goering was a genial prick too.

      • Don W

        • Adolf Fiinkensein

I think you might find he committed suicide before the hangman could get him.

The favorite Nazi method – cyanide pill.

          • Don W

I think you are right , he cheated the rope.

          • peterwiseman

No rope was strong enuf for Herman. Same as for Kim Fat Con.

          • peterwiseman

Dot Con is so caustic he would neutralise cyanide!!!!!!!!!

  • GarethsPussy

I think the guy should be on a plane, but so flippin’ what if he owns these things?

I own Das Kapital, it doesn’t mean I’m a Marxist.

    Shrugs.

    • From your comment it seems you saw “Dotcom has a signed copy of Mein Kampf” then stopped reading.

      • GarethsPussy

I read it. Is Prince Harry a Nazi too? Or just joking around, albeit inappropriately.

Sorry. I don’t subscribe to censorship of ideas. That’s a far- left trait.

        • I don’t think you did read it properly. Or listened. Prince Harry is irrelevant, and a poor comparison.

One was joking around, the other is a sympathiser.

The voting public of New Zealand have a right to know the man behind the charade who is trying to attempt to start a political party.

          Censorship of ideas my foot.

          • GarethsPussy

            Nope.

Harry’s stunt was childish, poorly thought-out and done to shock.

Unless you can demonstrate that Dot.com actually subscribes to the ideas and outcomes of Nazism, I couldn’t care less what items he owns, or what he reads.

          • pukakidon

          • Wasting your energy.

          • GarethsPussy

            Again, I have.

A few second hand comments and conjecture doesn’t prove anything. He may own the book because he’s a collector, he may have appreciated the flag and made salutes because he likes to shock people.

If he denies holding these beliefs, and doesn’t act on them – and it doesn’t appear that he ever has – then what have you got?

            Conjecture.

          • Blueballs

Don’t forget GP, in politics it is perception that counts, .Com is now a political leper, and there are only two parties that won’t break out in open sores over first hand contact with the patient.

Sorry, I don’t subscribe to censorship of ideas. That’s for the far- left.

The book maybe a collectors item. However the Nazi salutes, Nazi flags and other private behaviour tells the real story.

Of course members of the gangs which are often supporters of John H at field and his racist party are also obsessed with the swastika! Co-incidence ? I think not.

All including John Hatfield, the gangs and his mate KDC are bullies and thugs

  • Markmywords

I don’t believe TV 3 didn’t brief him that question was going to be asked, I think it was a set up to clear the decks for tomorrow..so as he can say I have answered that question when asked.

    • Mdj

Considering he won’t appear on the Paul Henry show without a pre-show meeting and yet he’s fairly considered with a reply on this topic – you may be right.

    • Roland

Your dead right there, I have been in ‘theatre’ and I know when there has been a ‘dress rehearsal

  • andrew carrot

The Ngati Party and the Nazi Party: hard to believe they were almost birds of a feather.

    • wiltinpenis

      Vultures or bulbuls?

  • boristhefrog

I’ve been waiting for the bomb to drop on KDC… I expect Hone will be cock a hoop over this!!!

  • Alloytoo

The left should be relieved, Mein Kampf is after all a National Socialist manefesto.

  • murray irwin

I will be sad – if relieved, when Mr Dotcom is finally demolished. There are things you have to admire, even while the totally is appalling.

  • Bartman

KDC = goneburger! Hard to believe but as you say ‘people ready to confirm’, so where to now for the big fulla? Why was his background not vetted thoroughly when he decided to lard on our doorstep?

  • JC

Putting aside the possibility that DC is a Nazi sympathiser I would love to own such a book because its an important piece of original memorabilia. For me its not the contents of the book thats so important but the historic value that I put on it.

To put it another way, an autobiography of Margaret Thatcher would elicit the same feelings of revulsion in some coal mining areas of Britain.. or the same feelings amongst some extreme Republicans of an FDR book and that revulsion could be transmitted amongst lefty groups in Britain or the US and used to demonise the book owners if they were politicians.

In my opinion any demonisation of DC based solely on his ownership of an original Mein Kampf.. or his ownership on original stuff from Churchill and Stain will fail unless it can be shown that he is sympathetic to the aims of the book as opposed to simply ownership of a rare book.

As a sort of backassward proof of how little such ownership matters consider that its the MSM that has initially released this information.. and how easily someone like Bob Jones would describe the reporters as ignorant Mullahs, Savonarolas, religious Hillbillies etc.

The import of this book ownership is nil unless the concepts can be shown to be something the Jolly German believes in and may try to implement. The potential for an own goal here is high unless its made clear that ownership is nothing.. its whether there’s evidence that KDC actually believes in it as opposed to showing bad taste or a normal lust for ownership of a rare commodity.

    JC

    • Lux

This is just one piece, like putting a jigsaw together ..

and it’s starting to look really ugly …

      • JC

        Yep.

But its important to build the case on DCs agreement with the principles of Mein Kampf rather than just ownership.. eg, its vastly more important if DC said Hitler was a great German rather than DC owns an original book.

        JC

        • James Howlett

I keep reading ‘DC’ as David Cunliffe. Makes for quite a weird reading of your posts. My bad.

          • Salacious T Crumb

I think Dan Carter as that is his nickname. Can we get a consensus to change to KDC or KD?

    • pukakidon

The book is only one piece of the puzzle. Gagging orders, threats etc… are these to stop the truth behind his behaviour and sympathies?

    • Cideshow11

What part of Margaret Thatchers life is even comparable to hitlers ?
She saved Britain from the strangle hold that the unions had at the time .
Hitler murdered millions based on their race . Let’s not forget that .

    • pukakidon

Do you think he has a copy of Anne Franks Diary?

      • JC

Good question. If he’s reading here I’d say he will quickly say he’s been looking for old copies for years.

        JC

        • Roland

Ask him on the ‘map of the day’, we know he reads that post

          • STAG

Maybe it could be a map of German influence circa 1942 to give him a warm fuzzy.

          • Roland

Or the map of cancelled tour dates 1944-1945

          • rrroberto

German influence 1942, for most of that year would b pretty strong throughout the globe, That is until November 1942 when the tide started to turn at El Alamein, with the NZ Division in the forefront. Say what you like but winston churchill summed it up.
“Before Alamein we never won, after Alamein we never lost”

    • arlo

None of that matters. An aspiring politician who admits to owning a copy of Mein Kampf on the eve of launching a political party is not destined for greatness.

      • JC

Maybe, but KDC’s possible supporters are hardly likely to be influenced by an 80 year old book.

        JC

        • pukakidon

You are absolutely correct KDCs supporters are only influenced by the mighty dollar. That is because that is all that matters to them.

          • JC

Only in part. To me its clear that KDC offers more than money.. he’s a genius at affirming left wing politics of whatever hue and the various pathologies of the left.. I’ve no doubt he could do the same thing on the right except he burnt off that avenue with John Banks.

This guy is good at exploiting human weaknesses and he has a few surprises in store for us yet.

            JC

          • pukakidon

I am not sure that not burning Banks would have saved him. He has played both sides of the Mayoral election and has been buying politicians all over the place. Unfortunately for Banks he did not allow himself to be bought and refused to support DC when he was caught and put in Jail

Most smart people could see right through this guy from the start. It has only been the greedy, dim or the self serving people that continually chase the dollar such as Labour, the Greens and more recently the creeps supporting him with the IP.

His criminal activity and copyright infringements have made him an untenable association with any mainstream political party.

        • JC

Actually, an 80 year old book that excoriates the Jews is very much in line with modern university and left wing thought. DC is on a winner here.

          JC

        • rrroberto

Very true, they wouldnt have a clue

      • rrroberto

ah ha, I think JC is on to something. Its all irrelevant in a quick flick click world. The targeted demograph not only doesnt care about who has a signed copy mein kampf. they dont even care what that is or what it might mean

    • rrroberto

I think I agree, but just remind me how many coalminers were exterminated by Maggie Thatcher, and also what was the death rate for those who did did or didnt oppose FDR.
Personally I wouldnt mind an old book, such as Mein kampf, and one day I will read it I am sure, its freely available.
But I certainly would not want an old book, especially this old book, which has been personally handled and autographed by Adolf Hitler. There in lies the point of difference , its not just an old book, its one of the very few”blessed” with the personal touch of the Fuhrer. Adolf Hitler was the greatest Arschloch in the German world and bought about the ruination of Germany.. .. Just take a look at the 1939 borders of Germany, already trimmed by the Treaty of Versaiiles, and contemplate now in 2014 just how may people want to squeeze into the much reduced 1949 borders of germany, many of them from within the 1871 borders of Germany.
Re rading your post JC, I am just not sure if your family were personally or directly involved in the fight against Nazism

  • pukakidon

I wonder why he hates the prime minister of our country so much. John Keys family escaped from the persecution of Jews in Europe. We do not want any of this behaviour in our country.

  • Andy

This will be the Godwin of all election campaigns!

Bring on the Kristallnacht before Sept 20th

  • Lifestylelen

What a delicious irony. I wonder if Hone has ever read (if he can read) about the treatment that Hitler dished out to Communists and Socialists. Perhaps the Krim can be of service to us after all.

    • LabTested

Hitler was a Socialist. The name Nazi means National Socialism. The German & Soviet Socialist had many almost identical ideologies.

      • Michael Forde

Antony Sutton has some youtube clips showing how they were both funded by “wall street” bankers.

Hitler was invaluable to Zionists, who wanted the assimilated Jews to be forced to move. The Jews were quite prominent in the Weimar, known for its burlesque decadence, Frankfurt schools, whores and Freudian “psychology”. Of course this is not known to most Moo Zealand students, busy studying the beduouin, or the romans.

Not that I dare besmirch the Jewish people, whom I love dearly. Especially our fearless leader, who I trust wholeheartedly with the future of this nation. Most westerners agree with my sentiments, and dont care who is in our governments. We trust the completely, as we know that no matter what their background, or allegiances, they want what is best for us.

Libertarianism. Collectivists love it. Individuals who bray about the evils of government are defenseless against those who play in group/out group in the free market. Ripe for the slaughter. Even better are those who talk about “limited government”. Limited to what you might ask? They all have their own individual ideas. Delicious.

I have a copy of the Nazi manifesto, do Nazi salutes, and absolutely love my Nazi flag that I got from one of my associates on my birthday, only because I respect the 6 million Jews and millions of Europeans killed during the second world war.

      Yeah Right!!!!!

What of all the sorry arse leftist political figures who knocked on this man’s door? They are all a disgrace to NZ. Not the Kiwi way.

  • stephen2d

Kim Schmitz is a little man (not in weight, though), who has been bullied when very young, shunned by girls and with only a collection of pimples as his most obvious possession. Not smart enough to be a nerd, with a real opportunity, but vengeful enough to try to prove something to someone/anyone that he is “important”. If some people didn’t think he has money, he would again be a nobody, just an overweight dole bludger, with a right hand as his girlfriend. And he knows it, hence this desperation to stay relevant. Watch him do his final standoff and drama circus when extradition time arrives.

  • Tony

What a load of sensationalist, anti intellectual dribble. Surely you guys have something better to write about than this crap?

      Bored at The Standard?

          • Tony

The cheap shot has been done by the person who wrote this article and those who made the comments on it on this blog. It is simply irrelevant and not newsworthy.

    • Nige.

Go on. Give him your vote.o

  • Tony

If Kim dot com was a nazi sympathizer do you think he would have an Asian wife? Upstairs for thinking.

    • CheesyEarWax

      Mind the steps.

    • pukakidon

Why not Hitler got into bed with the Japanese, didn’t he?

      • Shh don’t tell him, he hasn’t found out yet.

      • Tony

        Coms wife isn’t Japanese chief.

        • pukakidon

You do know that Japanese are Asian don’t you? or am I assuming too much?

    • stephen2d

Try again. What about “some of my best friends are Jews, black, gay, etc”?

      • Tony

Is that the best response you can come up with?

        • stephen2d

Nope, but I doubt you would (want to) understand anything more elaborate.

          • Tony

Simple answer. Someone who has an Asian wife isn’t likely to be a nazi sympathizer. The two are incompatible. duh.

          • pukakidon

What about someone who idolises Hitler, thinks Hitler is the Greatest man ever, Holds a personally signed copy of Hitlers rantings, adores a Nazi flag and runs around doing Nazi salutes and saying Sieg Heil.

          • Tony

You can’t be serious with that line of logic. Do you have any proof of that other than what is written here?

          • PhantomsDoc

You mean the Nazi’s wouldn’t work with Asian’s, you know, like the Japanese???

          • pukakidon

Hitler had a term for Asians or other races that he needed something from “honorary Aryans”. He would often deny his beliefs to achieve his goals.

Sounds a bit familiar,, lucky there was no such thing as video games back then as it could have been a good excuse for his henchmen and the Nuremberg trials may not have been needed.

I wonder if tomorrow we will find out that Dot Com has become a Rabi and owns 100 copies of Schindler’s List and Anne Franks diaries.

KDC has always prided himself on the creation of a facade. The face he presents to the world has always been different from the persona he actually is. He lives an opulent life, yet cannot pay his staff.

He pleads innocence, yet will not voluntarily leave the country to prove it in the US. He financially supports politicians of all types, not because he shares their beliefs, but because he wants to buy influence.

He demands openness and freedom, while taking out gagging and suppression orders.

Is it any wonder that his house of cards is about to topple?

  • adsup

Certainly fits with his obsessive hatred of John Key which seems to drive a lot of his actions.
If it was anyone else wouldn’t you be putting all your efforts into mounting a legal defence rather than trying to take out Key. A German who hates Jews, I am shocked and surprised.

    • Michael Forde

No, Jews who hate Germany would be the surprising thing. But those poor old Jews. Thrown out of countries 109 times so far. Gosh. Aren’t gentiles mean! IMO its the white man. So evil.

  • steve and monique

Allows a possible insight into the mind of Dotcom. What the World feels about Hitler, and the atrocities he committed is well known. Aligning yourself, or being proud of this man, is saying you have no problem with the attempted extermination of a race, and any other act he committed. Dotcom, Maybe the National front would be a better choice for joining political ranks with.

    • Karl Rove

Don’t be bloody ridiculous. Every library in New Zealand has at least one copy of Mein Kampf. So what are you saying – this gives a possible insight into the minds of librarians.

  • PhantomsDoc

So, would a cartoon with DotCom as Private Schultz standing there with his copy of MC behind his back saying “I knows nothink” be in order???

  • Eddie Nunns

will we see a DOS attack on WOBH in the morning ?
.com is going to be pissed

  • rrroberto

that is the main story. I got no problem with Kim Schmitz Dotcom, and if he has done unlawful things then thats up to the courts. But these political figures who have attached themselves to someone with a known history of dubious dealings, they are the ones to be despised.
    That is to say:
Hone Harawira. Russel Norman, Winston Peters, Clair Curran, and others no doubt

  • Randy Savage

If I had the money, I would buy one too, a great piece of history. The money won’t be going to Hitler – you realise that don’t you…

    • pukakidon

That is fine but would you do all the other stuff?

  • Geoff Vader

Would someone please tell me what the hell is going on?

  • Jo

Some serious allegations here. I would like the hear Dotcom’s response. Was he asked for comment?

    • pukakidon

Well if it is only a book (which is in pretty bad taste for someone who has political aspirations) then he might have been wronged. However if all these other claims are true then he is a Nazi sympathiser. That is the end of him as a public figure.

    • Dave

Hmmmm you think you could actually believe him, the facts are he is a convicted criminal, who has shown to have a very selective memory at best or an outright liar at worst. I’m leaning towards the latter. Here in Nz. his former staff are outing him as a liar and someone who can’t be trusted, but sure, ask him. BUT, look at the whites of his eyes, ask others, ask his team, research his answers, and then judge.

      • Jo

Would have been interesting to hear his response, that’s all. Then could make up mind whether I believe him or not on this particular issue.

  • Orange

Well considering his weird internet song and the similarities to a nazi party political broadcast are we surprised? Nope.

Owning a copy of Mein Kampf is not a crime, and a lot of history buffs will welcome it into their collections. But paying for a signed original does indicate some sort of admiration to the author, that, I have problems with.

And using COD as an excuse? Seriously? Let’s imagine for a moment that a terrorist was caught with weapon grade plutonium. Do you think anyone will believe him if he says he collects plutonium because he is a big fan of fallout (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fallout_%28video_game%29) ?

    • Teejay

Lets not forget the WW2 games that were released as early as 1992. so what if dotcom owns a copy of mein kampf that was signed by hitler and is one of the rarest pieces of nazi memorabilia
a lot of well known rock musicians own nazi memorabilia such as ozzy osbourne and lemmy
and i dont believe that dotcom has nazi sympathies at all

    • pukakidon

And if one of those turds ran for politics they would get the same treatment.

Being a Hitler worshiping scumbag leaves the realm of political beliefs and opinion and moves into the realm of social deviancy and moral corruption.

I can tell you now that if I find any of my friends back this twit and his party, it will be the last time they associate with me, I will have no time for morally corrupt people. I knew a gentleman with a number tattooed on his wrist that lost his Mother Father, two sisters and a brother to the murdering Nazi’s.

      • Brenden L’estrange

owning a copy of mein kampf doesnt make somebody a hitler loving scumbag like you just claimed

  • Chris

Any mainstream politician found with N.zi memorabilia would be hounded out by the media and voters. Its about perception and anyone in the media or politicians need to be seen to distance themselves, Dotcom will be tainted forever now,
Dotcom also owns 1/2m. dollars to debtors, why not sell the book if its is so rare an pay them off ?. Dotcom is a con man and criminal.
