Cam on The Cauldron at 16:00 on Newstalk ZB

Join Larry Williams, Josie Pagani, Barry Soper and some guy called Cam Slater on The Cauldron.

The format of the Cauldron may be different today, mostly because instead of commenting on political stories, I am the political story.   At this stage, it is expected that I will solo with Larry for the first half of the show.  Then I step back, and the rest of the team can comment on matters without me getting in the way.

This is the likely format, but it can still change.  I’ll try and get Pete to update asap this if that’s the case.

As much at home writing editorials as being the subject of them, Cam has won awards, including the Canon Media Award for his work on the Len Brown/Bevan Chuang story.  And when he’s not creating the news, he tends to be in it, with protagonists using the courts, media and social media to deliver financial as well as death threats.

They say that news is something that someone, somewhere, wants kept quiet.   Cam Slater doesn’t do quiet, and as a result he is a polarising, controversial but highly effective journalist that takes no prisoners.

He is fearless in his pursuit of a story.

Love him or loathe him.  But you can’t ignore him.
