David Cunliffe’s Chopper Read Pitch

Cunliffe - Sh_t

David Cunliffe had an absolute shocker last night.

If David Shearer had have remained leader and polled at the same level he was polling at before he was rolled Labour would have had between 8-10 more Mps and would be looking at forming a government.

David Cunliffe managed to lose at least 8% of Labours vote.

The left aren’t even close to forming a coalition. Yet he wants to stay on.

Despite the public proving they don’t like him. Despite him failing to raise the money to run a good campaign. Despite him taking Labour to its lowest election night result since 1923.

His problem is his only pitch is “Don’t be sorry, just be less f***ed next time.

How are you going to be “Less F***ed” next time David?

The bottom line is David Cunliffe is tits, Labour is tits.

Fixing that first must be Labour’s top priority.

Then they can start the soul searching before they can again become a viable political party.

As much at home writing editorials as being the subject of them, Cam has won awards, including the Canon Media Award for his work on the Len Brown/Bevan Chuang story.  And when he’s not creating the news, he tends to be in it, with protagonists using the courts, media and social media to deliver financial as well as death threats.

They say that news is something that someone, somewhere, wants kept quiet.   Cam Slater doesn’t do quiet, and as a result he is a polarising, controversial but highly effective journalist that takes no prisoners.

He is fearless in his pursuit of a story.

Love him or loathe him.  But you can’t ignore him.
