Light blogging weekend

Morning all.

It’s been a bit of a week, as you might have guessed.  And that followed a few weeks that were also a bit of a week.  So I’m going to take it a little easier today and say hi to my family.  First they lost me for 2.5 weeks through travel, and this week they lost me because I have basically been living either at the police station or at the lawyers’.

Tomorrow is also Fathers Day, so I expect my kids to do the blogging for me.  (ahem).

So don’t freak out if you see the odd gap during the next few days.  It’s time for some balance and the blog needs to take a back seat.  I’ve asked Pete to step up and help, but you can also join in and fill a spot or two.

We’ve had some superb guest posts lately, so if you have one in you, write a 500-1000 word article and email it to Pete ([email protected]…..).  That way it’s likely to get seen faster.

As much at home writing editorials as being the subject of them, Cam has won awards, including the Canon Media Award for his work on the Len Brown/Bevan Chuang story.  And when he’s not creating the news, he tends to be in it, with protagonists using the courts, media and social media to deliver financial as well as death threats.

They say that news is something that someone, somewhere, wants kept quiet.   Cam Slater doesn’t do quiet, and as a result he is a polarising, controversial but highly effective journalist that takes no prisoners.

He is fearless in his pursuit of a story.

Love him or loathe him.  But you can’t ignore him.
