Some people want to be famous on Whaleoil.  We couldn’t really let these go, and had to stop her from doing more, but just so you know how much fun it is holding these people at bay, we like to give you a glimpse

Who is Becci-Louise?

Becci-Louise works as a barista to pay for her studies at uni.  Good one.   But did her mum teach her that language?  Geepers

I tell you what, Becci-Louise is probably an Internet Mana voter.

Her Facebook page is primarily just a selfie gallery.

Thanks for dropping in Becci-Louise, but if you prefer to have your thoughts published again, at a minimum drop the foul language, stop attacking other commenters, and just tell our readers why you think their ideas are wrong.

Now, I realise this is cringe-worthy, and why should I do this to this poor girl, and so on.  But she came to this blog and started swearing, attacking other commenters and carrying on.  This was her own grown up adult decision.

Even though the moderators protected the audience from this, I wanted you to see what we put up with behind the scenes to keep Whaleoil as high a quality as possible.

As much at home writing editorials as being the subject of them, Cam has won awards, including the Canon Media Award for his work on the Len Brown/Bevan Chuang story. When he’s not creating the news, he tends to be in it, with protagonists using the courts, media and social media to deliver financial as well as death threats.

They say that news is something that someone, somewhere, wants kept quiet. Cam Slater doesn’t do quiet and, as a result, he is a polarising, controversial but highly effective journalist who takes no prisoners.

He is fearless in his pursuit of a story.

Love him or loathe him, you can’t ignore him.
