Another nomination for Len Brown and the Auckland Council.

Can I nominate the expense of getting a new Holden Calais V-Series V6 for Len, which has 70% bigger carbon footprint, just a month after he announced a policy targeting the reduction of greenhouse emissions in Auckland by 40%? Apparently he needs “the space to accommodate up to five people at any given time and have enough space to work”.

Is this a slang for an orgy in a car?

Of course you can nominate Len again Stephen, this type of hypocritical spending always needs to be ridiculed.

We have another iPad to give away this weekend, so send in your entries if you want to go into the draw. The prize goes to the silliest spending not the largest spending, so don’t worry if it is only a few thousand dollars.

As much at home writing editorials as being the subject of them, Cam has won awards, including the Canon Media Award for his work on the Len Brown/Bevan Chuang story.  And when he’s not creating the news, he tends to be in it, with protagonists using the courts, media and social media to deliver financial as well as death threats.

They say that news is something that someone, somewhere, wants kept quiet.   Cam Slater doesn’t do quiet, and as a result he is a polarising, controversial but highly effective journalist that takes no prisoners.

He is fearless in his pursuit of a story.

Love him or loathe him.  But you can’t ignore him.
