The Whys of Trivial Things

imagesGuest post

Just an idea for some trivia today.  With all the witty comments the WO contributors come up with, I though this may be something we could have fun with.  Tell me I’m mad if you wish – it wont be the first time I’ve been accused of that.

Why is it that we drive on the left hand side of the road and yet, when walking on a path, most people always walk on the right side?

Why do people (men particularly) have to examine the contents of their handkerchiefs?
(To see how much of their brain they’ve lost with that ginormous sneeze?)

Why do shower doors open on the opposite side from the shower head?
(Because only an ape with an extra-long arm can reach across to the faucet?)

Why do people in carparks always choose to walk behind an obviously reversing vehicle?

Why do people ask a question and interrupt with their answers before the question asked has been answered?
(We probably already know the answer to that).
