Country’s Buggered

I was sent this via the tipline.

It is hilarious.

It is a satirical look at enduring attitudes towards gays, immigrants, liberals, feminists and environmentalists still found in rural Aotearoa.

It is bound to be offensive to someone…all the more reason to post it.

So is the country buggered?

What ticks you off?

A good laugh. Nice bit of sax too.

    • Ratchette

Agree. Good sax. There is something about sax, ‘je ne sais quoi’…
I like that blond chick who plays with the Rod Stewart band …… Just can’t put my finger on it.

The Warehouse’s newly introduced online Christmas-Boxing day sales and today’s real crazy Boxing Day sales ticks me off (without the swearing of course). When my kids were young I remember clearly how The Warehouse led the way with a massive Boxing Day sale. I was so annoyed at having paid full price for my daughter’s Boogie board 2 days before that I returned it and then went and bought another one at half price. Kind of ruined the concept of Christmas…. since then all retail outlets have copied The Warehouse. Quite like the taste of couscous and the not being allowed to smoke law though. Back in my young day the only pasta we knew about was macaroni which was made into macaroni cheese and we had never heard of avocado.

    Hilarious ! Happy Boxing Day

One thing that didn’t get a mention was everybody’s seeming dependence on ‘risk assessments’ before making a decision about anything today. There’s a whole sub-culture of risk management – and well-paid risk assessment ‘professionals’ grown up in the last 20 years or so – in my day you thought it out for yourself and, if it was dumb, then you didn’t do it unless you were stupid.

Bloody MSM, bloody snake oil homeopaths, bloody hackers, bloody unions, bloody bludgers, bloody people who complain about being called Richard even when their real name is Martyn…better stop there

    • Ilovelife

You got away with it!! I put a heavily disguised “B” word up and got deleted!

For me…the softly softly approach of our justice system towards gangs,…there should be back breaking labour years in chains for it for just belonging to a gang nd that me being soft on them,,,, I despise gangs.
-those who live in this country and make no effort to integrate especially those who after a few years here can’t speak a word of English.
-People who blame everyone else for their actions and choices.
-People who live their comfortable lives but talk about the poor and downtrodden as if they speak with actual life experience authority– a sub section of this group that particularly annoys me , are the ones who want hardened criminals early released(or not even given a custodial sentence) so they can go back to their old communities…seriously, the people in their old communities don’t want them coming back and certainly not coming back early…..these ‘do gooders’ live in their own pc world where everything is so wonderful and the chardonnay flows and nasty people just need a hug.

Dumbing down of kids playgrounds. In my day we had concrete, dirt or gravel and you only fell off once, lesson learned.

BS. Kids died. Stop being a staunch kiwi.

It is very obvious from the lines at the checkouts, both before and after Christmas that this country is buggered. regards Angry Andy.

Kids getting far too many presents at Christmas time. It’s getting ridiculous!

  • Ilovelife

And Auckland Tourism wishing people Happy Holidays. Why is it OK to have Diwali and Matariki but not Christmas?

    • coltheman

It’s a lefty thing. CCC did the same.
