It doesn’t feel like Christmas without Christmas music

This week my daughter said that it didn’t feel like Christmas yet as we haven’t played any Christmas music. In the past the home has been filled with music but not this year. I have thrown out all our old Christmas CDs along with a lot of other stuff prior to moving house and now find myself looking online for songs to download or to listen online to.

As a public service to Whaleoilers I have compiled a list of links where you can find some Christmas tunes to brighten up your holiday.

1) Christmas songs

2) Christmas music

3) Christmas carols

4) Christmas tunes

5) Christmas downloads

6) Xmas songs

7) More Christmas downloads

You can probably get them from some of the christian/church sites as well…;)

  • El Jorge

I Heart Radio has a few playlists too.

  • Christmas music and torture are two subjects that are perfectly suited to be discussed in one setting. I have unending pity for retail workers for example that are subjected to this music in the weeks leading up to xmas. If it was me my head would explode.

This song epitomises Christmas music for me and the meaning.
It reminds me of going to midnight (literally midnight) mass and all the Christmas Carols.
The church being near bush there were the not so welcome visitors of hu hu bugs coming into the church, they scared me still do.

I have a soft spot for Michael Crawford singing ‘O Holy Night’. Real talent.

Stevie Nix Silent Night always gets me in the mood for Christmas

  • Wallace Westland

Personally I prefer the classics. Here are three of the great crooners, Crosby Sinatra

and Martin. Hard to beat. Merry Xmas
