Don’t take a machete to a gunfight

Some people are destined to be come organ donors.

Eventually Darwin claims his marks, like this guy who took a machete to a gunfight with a cop.

Authorities say a California Highway Patrol officer shot and killed a 17-year-old who attacked him with a machete.

CHP Capt. Adam Jager said Friday that the officer stopped to help the boy, who had hit a telephone pole in Humboldt County, when the teen attacked him. The officer sustained major injuries and is being treated in a Northern California hospital.

Jager says that the officer put up his left arm to block the machete; his hand and face were injured.

Jager says the officer shot the teen, locked himself in his patrol car and called for backup.

Another officer arrived later, finding the teen lying naked next to his car and acting erratically.

The Eureka Times-Standard (http://bit.ly/1DVeozS ) reports that the teen died at the scene.

The Mythbusters have tested this.

As much at home writing editorials as being the subject of them, Cam has won awards, including the Canon Media Award for his work on the Len Brown/Bevan Chuang story. When he’s not creating the news, he tends to be in it, with protagonists using the courts, media and social media to deliver financial as well as death threats.

They say that news is something that someone, somewhere, wants kept quiet. Cam Slater doesn’t do quiet and, as a result, he is a polarising, controversial but highly effective journalist who takes no prisoners.

He is fearless in his pursuit of a story.
