Heroic man who buys slaves off ISIS in order to rescue them

This unnamed Iraqi man buys Yezidi, Muslim or Christian women but what he does is not a crime. He does it to re unite them with their husbands or family. He acts as a dealer in order to infiltrate ISIS and purchase them. In this video you see him return a Yezidi girl to her Father after she was taken as a sex slave by ISIS.

BEAUTIFUL! I didn’t need to know the words to be moved by the scene.

What a wonderfully apt FOTD to have on the eve of Xmas, !!

There way more good people in this world than the scumbags that seek to bring us down. This man should be praised for his good works but sadly given the people he deals with paying for the release of slaves is nothing short of paying a ransom. His actions may indeed be noble but the ultimate outcome might result in more kidnappings.

    • Tiberius

My thoughts exactly! Well done to him, it’s great to reunite families, but by paying he is rewarding terrorists for kidnapping.

I thought the same but the truth is when it is your daughter you would move heaven and earth to get her back. These guys have lost their women due to their lack of military support so ransom is the only way until the good guys come riding in on their white horses to blow these Sand suckers to smithereens.

      • cows4me

You are right of course SB, you would do anything to get your child back but the reuniting of one family is surely going to condemn another family to the destruction of theirs.

There is a market for these girls and women whether or not families buy them back. They are given to fighters as spoils of war to rape themselves or to sell to others. If they are not bought back by families there are plenty of fighters who will buy them. The only thing that may happen is that they unwittingly drive the price up.The girls and women are taken and enslaved regardless.

Sadly private military support has been removed by many govts over the years, usually for political reasons, certainly not because it wasn’t effective.
There used to be & still are private companies completely capable of rescuing & preventing incidents. Most are prevented from doing so because Mercenaries are bad.

There are far too many apologists for the evil that is ISIS! It is really great that this person is doing this to reunite families, however it is only a drop in the ocean.
The sooner ISIS is dealt to the better, they are no different to the Somali pirates and need to be treated to a dose of humane justice.

Merry Christmas to you, wow that was so cool with all the bad news we get from the ME

Even in the midst of evil, there are those who risk everything for an act of kindness!

May be Jan Logie and Co might like to go and see this bloke and find out what is really happening but that is too much to ask.

  • Eiselmann

The fact that he does what he does tells us how evil ISIS is , how any liberal lefty could argue against their demise is incredible and yet everyday the political left tries to limit the response to these monsters. Then we have this heroic chap and make no mistake this man is a hero ..a good man against a lot of evil…oh that we all are blessed with such fortitude when we are asked to stand up for what is right.
