Runner-up for Muslim of the Year

Earlier I posted the story of the mayor of Rotterdam, a muslim, who told intolerant muslim immigrants to Eurpe to “f*ck off” if they didn’t like it in Europe.

Then there is this guy, Mufassil Islam, who posted this video to Facebook.

Passionate, but sensible stuff.

This is what is needed, and perhaps now with the terrible killings in Paris it seems that moderate, peace loving muslims are now finding their voice.

The actions of the terrorists are now affecting their way of life, one they enjoy in peace. The backlash is starting to be felt and people like Mufassil Islam are being affected and they don;t like it, fortunately they are speaking up.

I do hope though that they have good protection because the the intolerant and psychopathic elements if Islam are probably likely to take some retribution.

Give him a DB and a bullet proof vest, because I am thinking the poor blighter will need it.
He speaks of logical arguments within the law, and rightly so of course.
Unfortunately those he is addressing are devoid of logic.

    • Odd Ball

A DB is a bit insensitive, He probably doesn’t drink.

      • MaryLou

        Oh. Tru dat.

  • BloodyOrphan

Everyone on the planet should be calling Muhammad a sociopath, it is the only way to help moderate Muslims fight the terrorists that threaten to cut their heads off when they suggest the Koran is a sociopaths’ legacy and not the word of God.

The Koran must be re-written, as it stands it’s a sociopaths’ guide to torture textbook.

  • Cadwallader

Are we seeing a change of heart and intention?I hope so. Humanity needs this.

Now that we have this to clutch we can move on to the challenge of having the msm respect our PM and the will of the voters at our last General Election….this will be tough, pssoibly unattainable. Now Ms McQuillan….

  • Captain Darling

Well said that man. I often wonder why reporters don’t ask the likes of Anjem Choudry if the west is so wicked why do they stay?

    • Markus Aurelius

The reporters already know that the answer is unemployment benefits so don’t bother

  • Bombastic

At last! That is all I have to say.

  • Odd Ball

Well said, that man, what we need to hear more of is what the average Muslim thinks.

  • Cowgirl

He’s mad as hell and not going to take it any more, which is exactly how we all would be feeling if someone preached murder and intolerance in the name of any of our chosen faiths. This is what I don’t understand – the denial that these terrorists are “true” Muslims, the perpetuation of the idea that they don’t have to take responsibility or partake in the expulsion of these types from civil society, the complete absolution of themselves of any part to play in the solution – where is the anger that these terrorists are committing these horrendous acts in the name of Islam and their beloved prophet? If someone tried to speak in such a manner for me, I’d be mad as hell.

    • MaryLou

Maybe though coming from those countries and seeing the types of atrocities that are carried out routinely, would make one think twice about putting their head above the parapet? We recognise the effects on a battered woman, which are deeply psychological. What would it be like for some (obviously people react differently to stuff), to have lived it for years?

      • Cowgirl

The ideology seems to govern through fear, which I think is why you get the head down “move along, nothing to see here” approach of many.

      • dgrogan

Well…to a point, ML. But when they leave their oppressive countries and emigrate to the west, as the man said, they should leave all that excreatment behind – no need to bring it with them. We have laws to protect them.

        • MaryLou

Agreed. Kinda. Lot’s of immigrants from various country’s take a long time to learn to trust our police and justice system. We work with community police groups yes, but I don’t think it’s easy to give up on caution when it’s been hammered into you. Just like the art of haggling – equally difficult cultural thing to give up, yes??

OK not quite like haggling, but you get my drift…

          • dgrogan

Indeed I think I do, ML. I’m a little bit implacable these days. It’s part of my Islamophobic condition.

          • MaryLou

If there’s classes on taking selfies, I’m sure there’s a treatment for that…

  • 1951

So nice to hear Hone’s favorite words directed at others. The difference about this man from those murderous scum is seen on the shelves behind him. He needs to be heard loudly & clearly.

  • KGB

It is so good to hear real Muslims speaking out. Courageous man!

  • Chiefsfan73

The problem for this man is liberal governments would rather hug a suicide bomber than advance the interests of an individual seeking to just get on with his life. His anger needs to be directed at the ruling classes. Trouble is they are deaf.

  • Euan Ross-Taylor

I am wondering how annoyed Allah might be at the moment with those radicals who are causing his name to be mocked amongst the nations. Maybe Allah might withhold his sexual favours from them? “No virgins for you boys!”

  • Mikex

If more muslms had his mature and considered perspective, had half his courage then maybe we could actually stop this problem gettng a lot worse.

  • dgrogan

Now there’s a Muslim who has done some thinking for himself. Way to go. I’d like to buy that man a beer.

  • Dumrse

Why am I so suspicious of this man ? What’s the chance he (and thousands of others) are putting us at ease with this type of rhetoric which is part of the global ploy that eventually convinces us that Muslims are good people. Good cop, bad cop…. and we rest easy, and so their numbers grow.

    Just a thought.

  • Muffin

From the sounds of it I’d say hes fed up being lumped in as one of the jihadis by your average punter on the street.

  • Wallace Westland

That’s it “If you can’t change the hearts and minds of the people and you don’t like it then go somewhere they think like you” Simple really.

  • intelligentes candida diva

    Qdos to this man.
I admire his tenacity, this is what is needed.
He is one fiesty man who wants to protect his freedoms
The swearing amused me he can let rip :-)

  • Steve (North Shore)

    Balls, he has balls

  • NZ 2014

I have not seen this guy on any leftie news channel.
