Sometimes you do have wonder at the mentality of some people

This is Ben Uffindel’s idea of a joke…to glorify the murderous Islamic terror group ISIL (ISIS) by changing his logo at The Civilian.

Sometimes satire just falls flat.

I don’t know how he thinks that is a good idea.

Sure I know he has freedom of speech, but I just bet his leftie mates won’t be impressed especially since the group he appears to be using for shits and giggles has a habit of chucking poofs off tall buildings.

and stones women;

Yep, these aren’t really the sorts of guys that you really want to show solidarity with even if you are just taking the piss.

Satire is funny, using ISIL (ISIS) to make some sort of point no one is getting is just sick.

Ben Uffindel is just a sad, immature little dork.

New Zealand’s answer to The Onion as claimed by idiot journalists?

I don’t think so.

As much at home writing editorials as being the subject of them, Cam has won awards, including the Canon Media Award for his work on the Len Brown/Bevan Chuang story.  And when he’s not creating the news, he tends to be in it, with protagonists using the courts, media and social media to deliver financial as well as death threats.

They say that news is something that someone, somewhere, wants kept quiet.   Cam Slater doesn’t do quiet, and as a result he is a polarising, controversial but highly effective journalist that takes no prisoners.

He is fearless in his pursuit of a story.

Love him or loathe him.  But you can’t ignore him.
