This is how we expect peace loving Muslims from a religion of peace to react

Caution:  language

Is this man an exception?  If not, where are the others?   If more Muslims would come out and commit to Western laws, Western courts and Western values, then the extremists will be marginalised.

What is the most disconcerting to people is that Muslims like the man in the video appear to be the exception to the rule.  Those kind of Muslims can be our neighbours.

And as he says, if you can’t fit in, and you can’t accept our laws, customs and freedoms, then #### off back to where they have Sharia law.

I shared this with my Partner and he loved it. As you guys did the other day, he ranks this person second only to the Lord Mayor of the Dutch city that said the same thing, but slightly more eloquently. Also, check out this gentleman’s bookshelves – education, hated by fundamental religions since they [the religions] were dreamed up.

    • IntrinsicValue

      What is a fundamental religion?

      • Pharmachick

Any religion that tries to limit their adherent’s thoughts or actions and includes that “if you’re not one of us, you’re against us/damned etc). For example: I understand that Wiccans describe themselves as a religion, but they practice completely open tolerance of others’ views and ideas about the world, whilst subscribing to their own view of the world. Then, in my book, Wiccans are not fundamentalists. (Although I’ll bet that privately they’re thinking “yeah, we know best” – everyone does that at some point, its human nature).
EDIT: hence all Xtian, Muslim, Hindu etc religions are fundamentalist.

        • IntrinsicValue

You seem to have conflated ‘fundamental’ and ‘fundamentalist’. But either way your claim about education is complete nonsense. History is full of examples of the promotion of education for the masses by Christian leaders, beginning with the preservation of educational institutions after the collapse of the Roman Empire. Indeed the very idea of education for the masses came out of the Protestant Reformation. The promotion of the first law in the US to require the education of the masses, and the foundation of all but one of the first 123 colleges in the US, were the work of Christians, and the involvement of Christianity in providing education continues to this day.

          • Pharmachick

Yes the awesome Christians and their rush to educate. Would that be like painting selected propagandist bible scenes on churches for everyone to see in the Renaissance and High Renaissance while conducting the Mass in Latin, which few spoke? Or the denial of evolution by Christian churches in the modern US ? Or perhaps any of the following Papal edicts:
Letter of Gregory XVI to Irish Bishops, 1831

Militantis Ecclesiae, Pope Leo XIII, 1897

I will admit that Martin Luther was at pains to champion education – as long as it was faith-based so only batting 500 there.

  • oldmanNZ

The objective of some of these extremist I think is clear.

If I look at a country, say where Sharia Law is used, do I want to go there and try to change it. no

If a extremist wish to migrate to a country where western law is used. Would they abide and value that law that they hate?. No, they migrate there for a purpose other than to be a outstanding law abiding cizerton,
That is , to change the law or cause terror.

And why do they need to migrate to these western country to try change the law…..?
    World domination?

  • Whafe

Very good to see a video like this, however this needs to become the norm from the so called moderate Muslims, let’s see if these types giving a rev to the extremist Muslims ramps up as it should.

    • MaryLou

Actually, it’s all of us, from the Prime Minister down. What he said is how it is, and we should never be allowing anyone to think for even a Moment that they can change that. Whatever they do.

      • Whafe

Agree, be good to see a ground swell from Muslims condemning the, let’s call them extreme Muslims…

But yes, everyone needs to get far more educated on this “religion of peace”

  • The Accountant

Top bloke. Says it how it is.

  • caochladh

Like my old dearly departed dad used to say “son, there are only two types of people in this world, good and bad. Stay away from the bad guy’s and you will be OK”. Sure, it may be over simplistic for some, but its held me in good stead.

  • crosstherubicon

All sounds good and what we want to hear from Muslims, but I for one don’t believe any of it. I wander how he’d react if his daughter came home and said she’s courting a Jew or his son told him he’s gay, or his children wanted to convert to Christianity, Budhism or Judaism?
If he welcomed any or all of the above with open arms and accepted them for what they are, only then would I truly believe that he’s genuine and bought into western culture.
But he’s only one man in 1.6 billion Muslims, a single blade of grass in a million acres.
I still strongly believe that all Muslim immigration should be stopped into the west and all their special little laws and privileges that have been passed by spineless, appeasing governments should be taken away in order for them to integrate ‘NOW’ or leave tomorrow .

    • Pharmachick

I think he would [welcome his daughter marrying a Jew, or accept is son or daughter as gay]. I believe that people are fundamentally good. I believe that they can be twisted by religion and other creeds (e.g. communism) but I still believe that people are fundamentally good. I believe that it only takes one person to start a movement/backlash and that person can become a leader. A shining start that draws others to their new way of thinking. There’s no reason the person in this video cannot be the singularity that begins to turn the tide.

      • MaryLou

Agreed. If you look around there are others like him. And as for children dating whoever – well, there’s plenty of people who show a side they didn’t even know they had when theirs kids start dating! Look at Hone (it was Hone, wasn’t it?). Not a white face may darken his children’s doorsteps!

Having said that, we need more like this man to stand up and be counted.

    Sent this today.

This is a true story and the
author, Rick Mathes, is a well-known leader in prison
    ministry.

The man who walks with God always gets to
    his destination.
If you have a pulse you have a
    purpose.

    The Muslim religion is the
    fastest
growing religion per capita in the
    United States ,
    especially in the
    minority races!!
    Last month I attended my
    annual
    training session that’s required for
    maintaining my
    state prison
    security clearance.
    During the training session
there was a presentation by three speakers
    representing the
    Roman Catholic,
    Protestant and Muslim faiths,
    who each
    explained their beliefs.
    I was particularly interested
    in
what the Islamic had to say.
    The Muslim gave a great
presentation of the basics of Islam, complete with a
    video.

    After the presentations, time was
    provided for
    questions and answers.
When it was my turn, I directed
    my
question to the Muslim and asked:
    ‘Please, correct me if I’m
    wrong,
but I understand that most Imams and clerics of Islam
    have declared
a holy jihad [Holy war] against the
    infidels
of the world and, that by
killing an infidel, (which is a
    command to all Muslims)
they are assured of a place in
    heaven.
If that’s the case, can you give me
    the definition
    of an infidel?’

    There was no disagreement with
    my
    statements and, without hesitation,
    he replied,
    ‘Non-believers!’

I responded, ‘So, let me make sure
    I
have this straight. All followers of
    Allah have been commanded
    to kill
everyone who is not of your faith so
    they can have a
    place in heaven.
    Is that correct?’

    The expression on his
face changed from one of authority and command to that of a little
boy who had just been caught with his hand in the cookie
    jar.’

    He sheepishly replied, ‘Yes.’
    I then stated,
    ‘Well, sir, I have
a real problem trying to imagine The Pope
commanding all Catholics to kill those of your faith or Dr.Stanley
ordering all Protestants to do the same in order to guarantee them
    a place in heaven!’

    The Muslim was
    speechless!
I continued, ‘I also have a problem with being your
friend when you and your brother clerics are telling your
followers to kill me! Let me ask you a question:
    Would you
    rather have your Allah,
who tells you to kill me in order for
you to go to heaven, or my Jesus who tells me to love you because
I am going to heaven and He wants you to be there with
    me?’

You could have heard a pin drop as the Imam hung his
    head in shame.

    Needless to say, the organizers
    and/or
    promoters of the
    ‘Diversification’ training seminar
    were
not happy with my way of dealing with the Islamic Imam,
    and
exposing the truth about the Muslims’ beliefs.

    In twenty
years there will be enough Muslim voters in the U.S. to elect the
    President!

Total Fertility rate of Nigeria – 6.00. Total fertility rate of Niger – 7.5

NZ is on 2. Australia is on 1.8.

This is Children per Woman. Replacement is 2.1. Replacement.

Have fun on your little crusade, with your spoiled, pampered little brats, who are going to get blown to bits by insane, insane Jihaddis.

So many Muslims. So few Crusaders.

I suggest you google the following:

Washington Post meet the honor brigade

It’s the first item on the Google list (with a target picture). Amazingly brave work by an American Muslim woman. And look at some of the many comments.
