Next they will be looking for some wind to piss into

The Argies are all upset they’ve been spied on.

I’m surprised they even had a moan, they are still effectively at war over the Falkland Islands, which Argentina still think ?are theirs, even after their Army displayed a French like capacity for marching backwards while their Navy ended up on the bottom of the Atlantic.

The Argentine foreign ministry has summoned the British ambassador in Buenos Aires to complain about reports that Britain spied on Argentina amid renewed fears of a Falkland Islands invasion.<

John Freeman, the ambassador, was called in by Eduardo Zuain, the deputy foreign minister, at a time of heightened tensions between the two countries.

Argentina said that it summoned Mr Freeman ?to demand explanations over the silence of the British government? over the espionage claims.

He also delivered a threat to prosecute oil companies working in waters off the Falklands and re-iterated Argentine complaints about British plans to boost defences on the islands.

Fat chance them even getting that to a court.

The diplomatic dressing-down was a tit-for-tat response after Alicia Castro, the Argentina ambassador to London, was summoned to the Foreign Office on Wednesday.

She was called in as Britain registered its unhappiness about recent attacks by Ms Castro and Cristina Kirchner, the Argentine president, over Falklands oil exploration projects and the strengthening of the British garrison.

Britain had spied on the Argentina from 2006 to 2011 over fears of another attempt to reclaim the Falklands, according to documents released by Edward Snowden, the American whistle-blower.

Britain has made no response to the allegations and the Foreign Office only confirmed that Mr Freeman had been summoned by Argentine officials.

In Mr Zuain?s lecture, he told the ambassador that such surveillance actions were a breach of United Nations General assembly resolutions.

He also said that Argentina would file criminal charges against companies conducting oil and gas exploration work off the Falklands in what Buenos Aires claims as the ?Argentine continental shelf?.

Yeah good luck with that…the Brit ambassador should have shown them a picture of the ARA General Belgrano taken through the periscope of HMS Conqueror as a little reminder of what happens with dago bastards when they try it on.

Britain and the Falkands government say that such legal threats have no basis as

Argentina has no jurisdiction over the islands? territorial waters.

Yeah try pissing into the wind next time.
