Comment of the Day

Sometimes the missus comes up with some pearlers.

I don’t tell her lest it inflates her head.

We tolerate what is painful, we tolerate what we don’t like. Do I tolerate ice cream? Of course not but I tolerate having the flu. We have standards in the Western world and we cannot maintain our standards if we tolerate a painful counter culture that we don’t like.

If we tolerate women being oppressed we lose equality.
If we tolerate child brides our children lose protection from pedophilia.
If we tolerate being told that we should be slaughtered for drawing a cartoon we lose our freedom of speech.

Tolerance is an destructive word as it means that we turn a blind eye to evil. Should I stay with a man who beats me or should I tolerate the beatings?

The liberal left silence us and emasculate us with words like tolerance and Islamophobia.

Islam has infidelophobia, womenophobia, Homophobia, Jewophobia and democracyophobia, freedomofspeechophobia but that’s okay folks we need to shut up, cover the bruises with makeup and TOLERATE it. After all it is our own damn fault putting ourselves in this situation. We have no right to get ourselves out of it.

We need to be intolerant, especially of another culture’s intolerance toward us.

Tolerance is a cop out, it is one of the words of surrender. I say this because those who implore us to be tolerant aren’t tolerant themselves. They win and we lose because they are never going to be tolerant of our culture.

As much at home writing editorials as being the subject of them, Cam has won awards, including the Canon Media Award for his work on the Len Brown/Bevan Chuang story.  And when he’s not creating the news, he tends to be in it, with protagonists using the courts, media and social media to deliver financial as well as death threats.

They say that news is something that someone, somewhere, wants kept quiet.   Cam Slater doesn’t do quiet, and as a result he is a polarising, controversial but highly effective journalist that takes no prisoners.

He is fearless in his pursuit of a story.

Love him or loathe him.  But you can’t ignore him.
