Obama breaks the record again as the world’s best gun sales man

Obama has to be on some sort of retainer from gun manufacturers.

How else would you his explain his constant attempts to boost their sales.

Truth Revolt reports:

October marked the sixth month in a row that gun sales have been at an all-time high.

As The Washington Free Beacon notes, last month saw nearly two million background checks performed by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, beating out totals from October a year ago by nearly 400,000.

So far this year, 17,584,346 background checks have been performed. Last year’s total was 20,968,547 and 2013’s was 21,093,273. With two months left to go in 2015, those two years will likely be bested.

Of course, this isn’t an exact total of guns sold, per se, but “a reliable proxy,” according to the Beacon.

And it’s no surprise that gun sales have continued to increase as the politics of the left continue to threaten American’s Second Amendment rights. In a recent article for progressive outlet The Daily Beast, the headline couldn’t be any plainer: “Yes, They Want to Take Your Guns Away.”

James Kirchick writes:

For the gun-control side, the unspoken belief is that nothing short of all out confiscation will have an appreciable effect on decreasing gun deaths. Then again, it’s not that unspoken — gun-control advocates just prefer tergiversation to clarity.

Rarely in American gun-control advocates’ references to the Australian policy, however, do they acknowledge that the program amounted to confiscation.

Both Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama regularly point to Australia as the model of gun control, but as Kirchick notes, they conveniently leave out that little morsel of confiscation. But that’s exactly what they mean to do. To them, it’s the only solution.

And it’s not too hard to figure out that these strong gun sale figures show Americans have well picked up on their scent.

They refer to Australian policy but clearly have no idea what is going on in Australia with gun deaths, despite draconian laws. Melbourne in particular is experiencing a massive surge in gun crime.

Gun owners in the US at least have the NRA to support them. God help any politician who wants to go against the NRA.
