Politically correct council hoist by their own petard

In the good old days toilets and changing rooms were pretty simple. We lived in a world where it was acknowledged that there were only two genders, male and female. Nowadays however, the number of genders is constantly being updated and extended. What used to be incredibly simple, has now become incredibly complex. Where common sense once ruled, political correctness has taken its place. A person’s right to change in a room surrounded by people with the same biological body as themselves is now under attack. Nothing illustrates the insanity of political correctness quite like this story.

Seattle Parks and Recreation is facing a first-of-a-kind challenge to gender bathroom rules. A man undressed in a women?s locker room, citing a new state rule that allows people to choose a bathroom based on gender identity. It was a busy time at Evans Pool around 5:30pm Monday February 8. The pool was open for lap swim. According to Seattle Parks and Recreation, a man wearing board shorts entered the women?s locker room and took off his shirt. Women alerted staff, who told the man to leave, but he said ?the law has changed and I have a right to be here.

…As far as policy to protect everyone, Seattle Parks spokesman David Takami says they?re still working on the issue. Right now, there?s no specific protocol for how someone should demonstrate their gender in order to access a bathroom.

… They don?t know what to do. They literally have no idea how this could have happened. Their hands are tied.

My second favorite part, is this…

?I have no idea why anyone would even want to do that!?

Can?t. Stop. Laughing. This woman is incapable of fathoming why a man would want to gain access to the women?s changing room.

My third favorite part is this man himself. You know why? Because he?s still doing it. He?s just sauntering on in there, dropping his pants and when anyone questions him on it, he points to the rulebook and continues pissing them off. Clearly this guy is trying to make a point. Yes, he?s being a bit of a jerk. And boy oh boy, do I love him for it.

The city is in turmoil and has no idea how to react. After all, this is absurd! This man is using the women?s room! He?s showing entire disregard for gender norms and sensitivity! This simply isn?t done!

Now simply replace ?man? with the word ?transgender? who actually happens to still be a man, with a penis, and leftists welcome it with open arms.

Of course the city doesn?t know how to react. They have no leg to stand on. You can?t simply peddle the idea that people can choose their gender, that gender is non-binary, that people should be free to use the restroom of their choosing and then do an about-face when someone calls you on it.

This city is moronic. These laws are moronic. The modern, SJW ?trans? movement is moronic. And it?s taking one brilliant man, acting like a moron, to expose just how moronic?it is.

Fortunately not everyone in America as is as moronic as Seattle Parks and Recreation. Already there is a challenge to the law set as set out by the Human Rights Commission.

People in Washington would be required to use a restroom, locker room or other public?facility based on their biology, not their sexual identity,?under a bill approved by a divided Senate panel Wednesday evening.

Republicans on the Senate Law and Justice Committee approved a bill designed to set aside rules by the Human Rights Commission allowing?transgender people to use facilities based on the gender with which they identify. Minority Democrats said it was removing important protections for people in the transgender community.

Senate Bill 6548 says people cannot?use a restroom, bathroom, locker room or sauna if they have “genitalia of a different gender from that for which the facility is segregated.”

Sen. Jeannie Darnielle, D-Tacoma, said most people couldn’t tell the gender of a transgender person based on appearance.

“Never in my experience have I met a transgender person that presented a threat to another human being,” she?said.

Seriously? I have met many human beings who present a threat to other human beings. What a ridiculous statement to make. Imagine if I said, ” Never in my experience have I met a woman who presented a threat to another human being.” Or what about if I said, “Never in my experience have I met a man who presented a threat to another human being?”

Committee Chairman Mike Padden, R-Spokane Valley, said there was no suggestion that transgender people pose?a problem. But he’s received? more contacts from his district on this issue than any other, and many were concerned about predatory men taking advantage of the current rule to be in a women’s restroom or locker room.
