  • Keeping Stock

Hard? 10/10, although I did wonder if Q8 was a trick question, because I would never in a million years describe Kevin Rudd in the way the question does!

  • Michelle

9/10 would have got perfect score if l had read the Turangi question properly

  • Miss McGerkinshaw

8/10. Would have been 9 if I hadn’t over thought the cause of the rise in CPI, grrrrrr!

    • rantykiwi

      Ditto

      • hookerphil

And again, which was a tad annoying

        • XCIA

Me too, I though it was vegetables.

          • Disinfectant

            Ditto, ditto, ditto.

  • HR

9/10. Rookie mistake on question 1

  • Rick H

Vegetables caught me out over CPI increases. Thought I had heard that on the car radio.

    9/10 for me.

  • Mark

10/10 I guess I have been paying attention!

  • Woody

10/10 I must have been paying attention as well.

  • Jafarma

9/10 equal best score ever. Tripped up on the Turangi question

  • Crowgirl

9/10 – CPI one got me because maths

    • Lux

9/10 here as well, and the same question got me !

  • GT

    10 out of 10
Must of had the internal hard drive working this week

  • Mac50

10/10 too! Maybe being on holiday helped?

  • Moonroof

Another 8/10. With all the silly announcements about financial policy and housing that have been coming from Labour, I had forgotten there was one from the Greens. And I simply never noticed that Peter Dunne gave a speech to anyone, anywhere.

  • KiwiLliz

6/10 worst ever!!! Mind you, missed out a couple of days this week so that’s my excuse and I’m stickin’ to it ;-) Still enjoyed doing it and I’ll pay more attention nxt week.

    • It makes you all the more interesting for it. You apparently have a life!

  • pisces8284 .

    8/10 Couple of errors

  • crigs

9/10, one of the best scores yet.

  • MaryLou

9/10 Couldn’t remember whether it was Greens or Labour re mortgages. Mind you they’re pretty interchangeable so I don’t feel too bad.

  • JohnO

    9 out 10. I am a proven whale-oil tragic!

  • Greg M

    9/10 Must try harder
The Peter Dunne one got me.

    • Yep. He was lecturing the world on liberalising on illegal drugs, if you can believe it or not.

  • kayaker

This is the first time I’ve scored 10/10!

  • Muffin

    10/10 boom!

  • rangitoto

9/10. Better than I often do on the “easy” ones.

  • Remarkable. Normally I start harvesting questions from the most-read articles. This time I did it from the least-read articles.

So it wasn’t harder, as such, but the chance that you hadn’t read it was somewhat higher.

Turns out, you lot ARE tragics! :D

    • Brian Dingwall

What is this “most-read articles”? You mean there are some amongst us who don’t read everything? Tell me its not true…..

More seriously, I am interested in opinions as to the best way/time to read WO….read an article too soon and you miss some outstanding comments contributed later, too late and everyone’s moved on, so no point in contributing. Hardly the end of the world, but…….

      Tragically yours,

      • it is true.

And fair enough too. How many of you click on anything with the words “and /she was registered?” ;)

My quiz, for example, although apparently quite popular, is one of the least read features.

        *sob*

        • Brian Dingwall

You would beat us all Pete (‘cept maybe Lesley) if all next week’s questions come from the daily proverb….not that I would ever suggest such a thing….;)

          • Heh.

          • Since it is a long weekend, I might run another one tomorrow.

            Depends.

They take more time than you’d expect.

  • Stuarts.burgers

8 out of 10 taxes and cpi caught me and the tenant damage, in the end the insurance co pays but I guess yes in the first instance it is the landlord, who is then covered by his insurer

    • Sorry about that. Over thinking questions has been the bane of my life sitting tests when younger. I could frequently see more than one correct answer because the test was written to so poorly.

To find myself a source of the same problem is somewhat sobering. ;)

      • Stuarts.burgers

I was in no way casing aspersions upon your fine character Pete, but I do respect a brave man who can see what may have been a error that they could have created

  • Duchess of Pork

Happy with my 7/10. After the trigger warning (been waiting for the opportunity to use that one) I was expecting a 2.

  • Florrie Bunda

9 out of 10. Wish I had had the same results when I went to school.

  • Disinfectant

8 out of 10 for a hard one
I’m consistent for easy ones and hard ones.

  • Clutch Cargo

Got all of the “drug” ones right and failed on the “money” questions. Hmmm…..some life directions mistakes coming home to roost I think.

  • essiep

Yes! Back to 10 out of 10 after a couple of off weeks.

  • JEL51

Phew! 8 out of 10. Really surprised as little time for study this last week.

  • hsvmaloo

10/10 but I must say the one about increasing the CPI to dampen the housing market was quite perplexing, until I decided which party would be the looniest to even mention such an idea.

  • D.Dave

9/10, I foolishly picked Labour as the ones trying to increase the CPI. I should have gone with my head and picked the Greens.
