Any resemblance to Whaleoil’s moderator Nige, is probably more than coincidental.

The dent in the front guard of the car, i hope the ladder didn’t fall over and cause it, and if it did the mod responsible paid up.

A practical hint for the “builder” As an ex electrician, and having heard of similar stories, all my ladders have a short length of rope attached to the top, to secure them to the object i need to climb. Not only does it stop it falling and dropping me on the ground, it stops some fool playing a game and moving the ladder.

    • Chris EM

That’s such a cool game…if you’re the one on the ground.

  • Nige.

    Really? Someone has “RECOMMENDED”?!?!?

Oh well. All publicity is good publicly.

    • Pretty cool to have a step-son to manage a step-ladder.

      • Nige.

        Oh the irony.

    • Carl

Did you make the step-son pick up a pie on his way over to help you?

      • Nige.

Now that would have been clever thinking, but no.

I did however shout him a pie earlier in the day so perhaps that’s why he didn’t mind coming back.

  • dumbshit

What is leaking from the roof? Hope ya didn’t get caught short?

    • Nige.

I was hosing my internal spouting at home where the roof is enclosed and has parapet walls which act as handrails.

  • Greg M

Classic. Hopefully the pie shop would have raised the alarm if you didn’t show up tomorrow. :-)

  • Steely Man

Ive got a step ladder. I never really new my real ladder

I’m sure WO had a ladder shifting prank video on a few nights back – premonition maybe. This is not it – but similar theme (looks a bit like Blenium too :-)
