Face of the day

Today’s face of the day is Nadiya. The words below are hers.

“Today we celebrate Israel’s 68th birthday. As a Muslim American, I’d like to say thank you. Thank you, Israel, for providing safety to my Jewish relatives who fled the Soviet Union’s antisemitism. Thank you, Israel, for providing me with my emergency asthma inhaler, which has saved my life many times. Thank you, Israel, for providing the world with countless innovative technologies that we use daily.

Thank you, Israel, for providing an eternal home to all the world’s Jews. Thank you, Israel, for being the only democracy in the Middle East.
Thank you, Israel, for standing firm in the face of violent hatred and incitement. Thank you, Israel, for flying your flag proudly for 68 years. Thank you, Israel, for inspiring me to stand up against antisemitism in the Muslim community. I stand with you, now and forever. Am Yisrael Chai!
Attached is a picture of me from the Yom Ha’atzmaut celebration at my university. From, Nadiya.”

What a brave strong young woman. The type of leader that is needed to show the world tolerance is good.

It goes to show be wary but don’t judge a book by its cover or a woman by her hijab

A woman expressing gratitude without betraying herself how wonderful.

Random thought …how do those at University deal with her..those who would rage against her being supportive of Israel yet must also be sensitive to her because she’s Muslim. I daresay stances like her’s must cause many a SJW nightmares..

Yes she’s brave to be so open of her opinion, which should, ideally, be nothing extraordinary in not just the Muslim community but also the wider community.

    I can’t understand why she’s a muslim.

Read my reply above – she was a Jew, reverted to Islam after soul searching. And she is right trying to get more people to understand the truth. I have stated in many of my replies – there are many Jews who will stand side by side with Muslims, likewise. Judaism fluorishes under Muslim rule.

A walking oxymoron, she praises everything her religion detests, I think she is a somewhat confused individual.

      Maybe or
      maybe she is genuine or
maybe its to lull a false sense of security to non Muslims and she is practising taqiyya….
I will give her the benefit of the doubt because there are enough mad bad sharia followers out there that by her mere speaking out she is likely regarded as an apostate so putting her own safety at risk

I have replied before to those who claim we Muslims practise ‘Taqiyya’. I have replied this in detail. Using that same website you are referring to, if you are keen to learn the truth, go to quran.com and sunnah.com. Every quote in that website, you go and read from the source in full. Read the sentence before and after. Judge it for yourself :-)

Indeed, the most disliked created beings in the Sight of God are the deaf and the dumb who do not use their intellect. (Quran, 8:22)

You shall not accept any information, unless you verify it for yourself. I have given you the hearing, the eyesight, and the brain, and you are responsible for using them. (Quran, 17:36)

That is interesting. She was a Jew before reverting to Islam. She is right – just like herself, there will be many people in Israel who also do not understand the truth around them. I have posted this before – there are many Jews who will stand side by side with Muslims. In fact, Judaism fluorishes under Muslim rule.

If you look for the truth, God will guide you the true path. It is beautiful that Allah has guide her to the truth.

Her facebook ID is “Cassie Pancakes Madison”. An excerpt of her short reply (you can google the rest of her reply)

“Hi, George! I am Nadiya (Facebook won’t let me change my name :P ). Long story short, my boyfriend converted to Islam, and I did not like that. I set out to find scientific inaccuracies in the Quran, to stop him from being Muslim. All I found was reason, scientific miracles, and truth. I could not find anything wrong! So I did a lot of research and soul-searching, and I ultimately decided to convert.

Becoming Muslim made me more passionate about my Jewish heritage, for some reason. I think it was G-d calling me.”
