  • Disinfectant

    100% economic, 85% social.

    That makes me a Liberterian.

Interestingly when I was much younger people used to describe me as a Tory anarchist. I had to explain to them that they were mistaken and I wasn’t an anarchist.

Moderate Libertarian, must say I’m highly surprised as always thought I was right wing.

    • spanishbride

Don’t worry, everyone in the MSM and on Left wing blogs has labelled as all as extreme right wing nutbars so take comfort in that.

    • Glenn

  • R&BAvenger

I came out as a moderate libertarian. This is a similar result to another quiz I did recently. Confirms my own believe that I have a perfectly balanced view on life…. My other half still thinks I’m a screaming and bigoted right wing nutter…but she loves me all the same.

  • shykiwibloke

Extreme point where right wing conservative meets libertarian. Still suggests that Obama has views similar to mine…..suspect it’s a bit rigged to put his name up?

Edit:- just realised it listed 2012 candidates so Trump should not be on the list anyways.

  • Lux
  • Old Man, Torbay.

Darn.Lost the page!! Libertarian with 90% economic freedom, 70% personal freedom (If my memory can be trusted) Apart from the medical options not really applicable to our situation, that had me thinking a bit deeper.

    • D.Dave

Nige, I saw you as the touchy-feely moderate type……

      • Nige.

So did I. Turns out you can be a normal human AND be touchy feely.

  • Boondecker

On the lower right of libertarian. Not surprised. Me to a tee. Never really been comfortable with being called a right winger by those who generalise and don’t know the difference. What am I doing on this blog…

    • spanishbride

      Raising our collective IQ perhaps?

  • Rightsideofthebed

Right of centre Moderate-Libertarian. Probably not an inaccurate description.

  • PersonOfColor:WHITE

Libertarian, moderate right wing….three feet, one in each camp….camp?

  • RG52

Being in business I thought I would have been a bit further right, probably explains why I never read posts about climate change on this site! I am definitely a libertarian thought, and I have an intense dislike for left wing politics.

  • hifuncblonde
  • Not Clinically Insane

50-50 on the social scale, 70% towards the individual on the economic scale, which puts me in the top right corner of the moderate box

  • KGB

I sit on the moderate line of right-wing. No surprises there ?

  • andrewo

I’m at the interface between moderate and libertarian. It agrees with my politicalcompass result.

  • WeaselKiss

I’m about one centimetre above the ‘e’ in moderate.
I love all these quizzes you’re putting up SB, they are awesome.

    • D.Dave

Likewise Weaselkiss. It says i am moderate. My family sees me as somewhere to the right of Attila the Hun.

  • GoingRight

Wow I am a Liberterian too! Hubby thinks I am a liberal leftie!

  • Builder
    • Chris

I am about the same. So can someone answer which political party I should support?

      • Builder

Act would align closest. I would vote for them if I was certain they would be part of the government.

  • MrHippo

The interesting thing is the seeming large clustering near the moderate box with a bias towards libertarian – not the heartless, selfish hard-right haters that the MSM would portray as the typical WO reader/contributor. The corollary of this is that despite the centrist clustering, there is often some criticism directed at the government as being too left and potentially it does highlight just how far the incumbents have encroached on the left of the political divide.

  • AlanB

80% Personal Freedom 80% Economic freedom. Would have thought a Moderate Me. but no, Libertarian.

  • Frank N Further

75% Social, 65% Economic. A Libertarian as I would have expected, but slightly towards the left, which I would not have expected. Do I have to give myself an uppercut and toughen up?

  • GMAK

75% for both. About what I expected

    • AL357

Me too at 75%/75% but more Libertarian than expected

  • Scratchings

My result was on the identical point to SB’s above. In fact when i returned to this page I thought clever software had already placed it there but, upon reflection, I think the chart above is SB’s result, and it is just coincidence that it is identical to my own!
