Epic fail of Epic Fails…

Oscar hosts Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway announced La La Land was 2017’s Best Picture winner. Except it wasn’t.

The actual winner was Barry Jenkins’ Moonlight, the story of a young black man coming to terms with his sexuality in gangland Miami.

La La Land producer Jordan Horowitz was the first to realise the mistake, but not before giving his thank you speech for his supposed win.

“There’s a mistake,” he said, when he saw the envelopes. “Moonlight, you guys won best picture. This is not a joke. I’m afraid they read the wrong thing. Moonlight has won best picture.”

It was chaos on the stage as La La Land’s oblivious producers gave their “thank you” speeches, while Oscar officials examined envelopes and confirmed what had happened.

And these are the same crowd that accuse Donald Trump of not running a professional presidency.

Speaking of which…
