What is good for the gander is good for the goose

In my analogy, the gander is gay man Milo Yiannopoulos who had his book Dangerous cancelled by his publisher and the goose is gay woman Lena Dunham who has cancelled her book tour. Over the years many allegations have been used to try to silence Milo such as white supremacist, white nationalist, alt-right, anti-Semite, racist, islamophobic, homophobic and transphobic. The smear that cost him both his book deal and his job, however, was one of the worst smears that anyone can throw at a person which is to call them a  paedophile.

Milo’s use of the word “boy” in a video was deliberately twisted to make it appear that he was referring to young boys when in fact he was referring to his own sexual relationship at 17 with an older man. In the unedited version of the video used to smear him, he actually stated that the age of consent was about right which clearly showed that he did not support underage sex or paedophilia.

Milo was molested by a paedophile when he was 13. In his career as a journalist, he has been responsible for shining sunlight on three pedophiles which as he pointed out at his media conference was three more than any of his accusers.

Nevertheless, the smear cost him his lucrative book deal and his job at Breitbart but his fans were not happy and immediately began to point out a number of famous people on the left who have said much worse and gotten away with it. One of those people was Bill Myer who in a video condoned sex between a 12 year old student and a 33 year old teacher. He even mocked the female guest who called it rape.

The best story though is about the lesbian darling of the left called Lena Dunham who is the goose to Milo’s gander. When Truth Revolt dared to reveal what Lena had written about doing to her toddler sister in her book she initially went in all guns blazing threatening them with a lawsuit but then backed down issued a public apology and cancelled her book tour.

Lena Dunham

In the collection of nonfiction personal accounts, Dunham describes using her little sister at times essentially as a sexual outlet, bribing her to kiss her for prolonged periods and even masturbating while she is in the bed beside her. But perhaps the most disturbing is an account she proudly gives of an episode that occurred when she was seven and her sister was one.

…her lawyer sent a cease and desist letter to TruthRevolt threatening to sue us for “millions of dollars” if we did not pull the piece and post a retraction stating that this story was “false.” TruthRevolt refused.

Monday, TruthRevolt editor-in-chief Ben Shapiro posted a response to the cease and desist letter, which includes more of the passages from her book upon which our assessment was based and argues that “quoting a woman’s book does not constitute a ‘false’ story”:

Lena Dunham may not like our interpretation of her book, but unfortunately for her and her attorneys, she wrote that book – and the First Amendment covers a good deal of material she may not like.

Dunham announced Monday that she canceled book tour events in Berlin and Belgium. Tuesday, she issued a public apology via Time in which she said she wanted to be “very clear that I do not condone any kind of abuse under any circumstance” and apologized for passages and language in her book that might have “been painful or triggering” for readers:

If the situations described in my book have been painful or triggering for people to read, I am sorry, as that was never my intention. I am also aware that the comic use of the term “sexual predator” was insensitive, and I’m sorry for that as well…

Update II

Lena Dunham commented again on this article while speaking on Bill Simmons’ podcast show “The B.S. Report” on Jan 1, 2015, suggesting that TruthRevolt had manufactured the story and published it for political purposes “the day after I launched a Planned Parenthood campaign and the day before the midterm elections.” She said, however, that she did not care “what conservative white men” think about her:

I don’t care what conservative white men think about me. But I do care if anything I write is painful for survivors of sexual abuse, if anything I write is painful for other feminists.

Though she admitted she regretted describing herself as pursuing her sister like a “sexual predator,” she insisted that she and her sister had been raised with “very healthy” sexual boundaries and said it was“painful to be accused of being things that I know I’m not, and to sort of have what I thought was a very natural childhood experience and curiosity vilified.”

Yeah, poor Lena, she still has her job and her book and the lefties still love her. Milo on the other hand who was a victim of sexual abuse has been hung out to dry and is still being slandered as a paedophile all over the internet. That is the difference between being a lesbian with acceptable Progressive views and an unacceptable conservative/libertarian gay man. One can play with her young sister’s vagina all she likes and makes money from a book writing about it, while the other who uses black humour in a video to deal with what was done to him by a paedophile gets vilified everywhere.
