CNN is done, stick a fork in them

The Clinton News Network continues to run stupid anti-Trump story after stupid anti-Trump story.

The latest is that he is afraid of stairs…I’m not kidding.

If the final nail hasn’t already been put in CNN’s coffin, this should do it.

In a it-has-to-be-seen-to-be-believed segment, morning hosts Chris Cuomo and Alisyn Camerota — with looks on their faces that say, “I can’t believe they pay us to do this” — introduced a story only CNN could find worthy to air.

Drawing from conspiracy theories from Vanity Fair and the British press, CNN spent two minutes considering if the president suffers from bathmophobia, or the fear of stairs and ramps.

“A fear common to household pets,” Jeanne Moos’s voiceover boomed. “Ever since first hearing about the phobia rumor, I’ve become slightly obsessed with watching President Trump watch his step.”

Cut to a montage of Trump “watching his step” as he ascends and descends stairs and ramps, desperately grabbing the handrail to steady himself. (Did they spend this much time on Hillary Clinton when she was struggling to navigate inclines and actually falling all over herself?) And, of course, CNN was quick to point out how easily Barack Obama could jog down the steps of Air Force One. Trump once called that, “inelegant and unpresidential.”

When asked if President Trump has bathmophobia, the White House responded, “No offense, but this is an absurd question.”

And then there was that “mystery hand clutch” Trump applied to British Prime Minister Theresa May back in January as they descended a ramp at the White House. Was this another manifestation of his fear?

May didn’t think so: “I think he was actually being a gentleman. We were about to walk down a ramp, and he said it might be a bit awkward.”

Not as awkward as this segment. And CNN thinks the Trump administration has a credibility problem?

This is… fake news.

Fake news indeed.

I wonder if they had thought that Donald Trump is seventy years old…watching your step is a sensible thing to do…because if you don’t this happens:

No wonder no one trusts the media anymore.
