Face of the Day

Hard1 writes about Steve Braunias’s coverage of Rachel MacGregor

For all the women trapped in situations where they must withstand abuse to hold in place the more secure aspects of their lives, Rachel MacGregor’s experience highlights the inherent vulnerability of being paired in employment with a boss with an agenda to use the job to play his games.

Braunias treats the case with less respect than his reviews of junk-food joints. Telling, really. Very little empathy from the writer and the Editor. This from the paper that champions victims, daily, in all their sudden glory.

The message from Braunias is, sadly, that Rachel’s treatment from the boss was humorously acceptable, to the point of schadenfreude.

Shame on you, Braunias.

Don’t you have a woman that you respect in your life?

Would you write the same way about her?
