Face of the day

Mary Prichard

Today’s face of the day thinks that removing the words “Children of Israel” from a song without permission is justified because it will “keep life simple.” I wonder if she thinks that when people were quite justifiably upset (including the writer of the musical) that it was okay for the organisers Artsplash to react by butchering the musical even more by removing three songs completely?

But as a result of the complaints about the lyric changes, Artsplash had removed Close Every Door and two other Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat songs from its programme.
