Guest Post – Where are your Jews?

It’s a mystery why Israel is constantly lambasted for being the cause of contention in the Middle East? They are frequently labeled as a rogue state, accused of Islamophobia and most recently having apartheid like policies.

Lets test and see how big and bad Israel really is:

Search for a world map on your computer or device. Ensure the map is centred on your screen and then quickly find Israel? Its not easy – Israel is but a spec on the map.

The total land mass of Israel is a mere 21,640 sq. km!

To put this into perspective; New Zealand has a land mass of 268,021 sq. km.

The total land mass of Israel’s Muslin neighbours is 6,283,626 sq. km being the sum of Egypt, Jordan, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Iraq and Turkey.

In 1917 England started to segregate the region into Jewish and Arab settlements. In 1947 the United Nations adopted Resolution 181 (also known as the Partition Resolution). The resolution agreed to resettle Jews in the area. In 1948 this land officially became the State of Israel.

Post WW2 Israel did not ask for Western Germany, but ask for the land they deemed indicative to their historical borders. No-one really wanted this land and no-one was willing to claim it. It was not an arable land at all –  it was poor destitute and desert like, rough, rugged and mostly dry.

Israel occupies only 0.34% of the region’s land mass. What is more absurd is the neighbours want Israel’s meager 0.34% for themselves.

Lets discuss who discriminates and who is Islamophobic in the region.

Have a look at this video:

In this video Israel’s neighbours bitch and moan at the United Nations Human Rights Council and accuse Israel of being an apartheid state. Hillel Neuer replies to these allegations and asks them a simple question: “Where are your Jews?” As you can imagine there aren’t any. Jews are categorically not welcome in their countries and at dire risk even when visiting.

Its a mystery why the press never mentions this?

Are Muslims suffering from Islamophobia? Islam causes turmoil that belies understanding. There are so many interpretations that even they struggle to tolerate each other. This diversity causes endless contention and discrimination.

Muslims suffer from Islamophobia at the highest level and discriminate against each other based on religious and primeval tribal issues. Weirdly enough they also want to blame this quibbling on the west as well.

Are the Jews discriminating?

Since 1948 to present day, the Israelis have an advanced form of democracy. So much so, Jews and Arabs live side by side without animosity. Once a citizen of Israel you have equal rights irrespective of your beliefs. You can be Jewish, Christian, Muslim or Atheist and are free to buy land, vote, open businesses, join the army or be elected to parliament! Their society is built on fairness and tolerance for all – even the road signs are in the three main languages of the region – Hebrew, Arabic and English.

Its both a liberal secular and religious society. The path you choose is your choice not the states. They look well after their elderly, woman and children and have an outstanding health system. Their economy is great and education is on par with the rest of the world. If found guilty of a crime you will be assured of a fair and just trial and not find yourself in front of a bunch of religious fanatics. They manufacture, design and create.

Why did they build a wall then? Prior to the wall been built, radical Islamic terrorists would plant bombs in public places that indiscriminately killed both Jews and Muslims. Arab teenagers would drop huge rocks on vehicles off bridges or stab people randomly then run away. Israel warned them to get their people under control. This did not happen so a wall was built. The wall brought relief!

Unlike some of their neighbours, Israel does not use woman and children as human shields and does not dig tunnels to plant bombs on the other side. They also do not believe in slave labour or people smuggling – you will not hear stories of maids being beaten by their employers. What really pisses them off is when you allow idiots to fire rockets on their citizens from your virtually bankrupt country that has no tolerance or respect for human life.

Israel readily offers disaster assistance across the world where such relief is needed. They purposely collaborate with other religions to meet common social economic goals. Walking through Ben Gurion Airport you will notice posters showing how Jewish movements have collaborated with Christian organisations to meet a variety of needs. The headquarters of the Baha’i religion is in Haifa Israel. This is right in the middle of this important Israeli port.

So who discriminates and who endorses apartheid – the Israelis or the Muslim’s. The mainstream media are pulling the wool over our eyes and avoiding the truth.
